"You Were late. It's nightime now" Lucas protested sarcastically.

"Hey it wasn't my fault, you were there too.." Ijekiel replied while putting a hand on his cheek, "by the way, how did you know I was there?" He asked.

"Because you're too dumb to realize that i followed you the whole day"
Lucas joked.

Ijekiel turned red of embarrassment then try to remember what he did the whole day, thinking he may did something embarrassing.

"I bet that hurt didn't it?" Lucas asked, "but at least for you, here" Lucas pointed at ijekiel then blinked once, suddenly ijekiel's cheek wasn't hurting anymore, it just disappeared.

"It's gone?" Ijekiel asked confused on how lucas knew there were such a method.
"Of course it is, whitey junior." Lucas replied.

Ijekiel was mesmerized "But I've never seen such a method.. How?"

Lucas smirked, "I have the book with me," He said while getting a small rusty book out his pocket, "but your mana is too weak for now."

Ijekiel stood up in excitement and leaned forward, "can I learn? It looks interesting"

Lucas never seen someone wanting to learn that method from him, but Lucas already has a plan up his sleeve. "Yeah sure whitey junior, I guarantee you'll learn in a day." Lucas chuckled.

Lucas stood up and walked to the balcony "But for now rest until your mana is stable again."

"Yeah, then I'll be going now." Ijekiel slowly opened the door, "night, Lucas. " Then shut the door behind him.

[Ijekiel POV]

I'd never thought that magician would he generous enough to teach me magic.
It's like that time when I taught princess athanasia how to get fake gold coins when she visited the estate.

"Yeah.. You were right. He's not as bad as I thought, my lady angel.." I thought to myself.

"I'll tell him tomorrow then."

[Lucas POV]

"Good night.." I muffled, "hm.. Night, huh? Reminds me when you say that to me before you go to bed"

I looked back, looking at the sofa "maybe I can meet you again if I rest"

I walked towards the sofa and layed down, whenever I close my eyes that thought of you sitting beside me always appear.

But after a while I eventually fell asleep there.

[The dream]

"Hey again lucaaasss!" Athanasia cheerfully greeted once more in that 'dream'

"Miss me didn't you?" She said "I just got back from ijekiel's"

"Athanasia? I'm here again.." Lucas spoke to her, "you visit whitey junior too..?"

"Of course I do." She replied, "I don't have much time left" She continued.

"Wait! I need to take down that damn emperor and his bratty daughter." Lucas expected an answer from her.

Athanasia smiled, "the afterworld prevents me from telling a truth straight to the point" She explained,
"Other then that, The heir has a bunch of artifacts, they're as beautiful as she is."

"but the fruit basket painting is the most astonishing in my opinion." She said, then slowly fading away like last time

Lucas was woken up again, now at 4 AM, he clearly remembered athanasia and that random last sentence.

Lucas chuckled, "fruit basket painting. That's an easy clue."
He got up and put on his robe.

He headed to the door, but it unexpectedly opened by ijekiel first.
"Oh you're awake too I see." He spoke.
"She told me she'd visit you." He continue

Lucas crossed his arms, "of course she did, she wouldn't forget me." Lucas bragged.

Ijekiel got annoyed there, lucas acted the same again. He spins around hearing footsteps nearby, must be the guards. Ijekiel pushed lucas inside and shut the door, "well whitey junior I heard that footsteps" Lucas whispered.

"It's too risky here, well have to discuss it tomorrow." Ijekiel said.

Lucas smiled annoyingly, "good thing I'm patient," He bragged again, "welp, this is gonna take forever. Go sleep again whitey, your mana increased a bit"

Ijekiel sat down "Well then i guess the sofa if the only option." He layed down uncomfortably, "aren't you going to rest?" Ijekiel asked.

Lucas smiled at the stars, that again reminded him of athanasia, "no, I'll be here all night."
