"Ijekiel alpheus!" Roger shouted walking to ijekiel, though ijekiel didn't even flinch a bit, and Lucas was still sitting on the grass.

"What other idiotic thing are you doing?!"

"It's really none of your business." Ijekiel replied, with coldness in his voice.

Roger was pissed, since when did his son has such an attitude? He decided not to punish him again, since the magician was there and he can't risk loosing his arm.

He sighed, "ijekiel.. Tell me what have you been doing with.. Him."

"Well he's generous enough to teach me spells I never knew, father." Ijekiel said with no hesitation whatsoever, "he's teaching me better then you did for 18 years.."

Lucas chuckled, "i guess that means I'm better, senior whitey." Lucas mocked.

Roger was enraged at that moment, he knew that he couldn't fight back since ijekiel is his son, moreover that magician was there. Roger turned away, "you've won this time, but don't forget.. My son ijekiel is still engaged to jennette" Then left.

Ijekiel turned to Lucas, and decided to sit down on the grass too. ".. That completely slipped my mind." Ijekiel mumbled while looking down.

Lucas didn't say nor show it, but he felt sorry that ijekiel was forced to marry a girl like that chimera, "I'll figure out a way somehow."

Ijekiel raised is chin up once more, "..if you insist!" He smiled. "Yeah but you better master that spells!" Lucas teased sarcastically.

"Of course I will, I'll learn it in no time."
"Alright bet. If you can master it in 2 weeks I'll do anything you want"
"Bet. And what will you do?"
"Give me your room to me."
"... I must go now, it's getting dark."
"Hey-, what?!"

"Yes, daddy" Jennette replied to claude, "I can't believe ijekiel had more conversation with lady helena irain." She complains, "honestly. But at least he kissed my hand! Isn't that enough, right daddy?" She was talking about the tea party non stop, it kinda made claude have a headache.

"You shouldn't immediately trust someone just because they kissed your hand, jennette." Claude replied.

Jennette thought for a second, then grew disappointed ".. Yeah well.. I guess you're right, but still.."

"Go to your room Jennette, I'm busy." The emperor ordered. Jennette just nodded, then left the room slowly.

But not a minute passed and someone knocked on the door, "come in, felix."

The knight came in, "sire, I've gotten a report that obelia's sacred protection spell has been stolen"

Claude didn't glance at Felix even a bit, "have you tried contacting the other staff members?" He asked.

"I did, sire." Felix replied, "they don't have a clue, non even one."

Claude finally looked up at Felix, "try asking the members at that place, ruby palace.. Isn't it?"

"Yes sire. I'll give out a report immediately."

A/N: I've noticed something that bothers me a lot about this story, Jennette. I could've tried to make her character seem more "manipulative" Rather then being straight up a brat. That's one of my biggest regrets that I can no longer fix.

I'll try to improve the character in future chapters though (I don't hate novel Jennette, btw)

But right now I have some other things to do like skate practice(yes I'm training to be a skater), unfinished assignments, and animes I'm interested in (plot ideas).
