It's been 6 hour since ijekiel was with that magician, ijekiel kept repeating that sentence lucas said "the next emperor?" Ijekiel mumbled, ".. Can I though? What exactly is he thinking" He thought
To be clear, ijekiel did pass the questions lucas asked, except the one with the previous emperor, aethernitas de alger obelia.
Hours ago "Nope. Wrong." Said lucas.
Ijekiel was confused, "but it's true, every book that exist says aethernitas is the strongest emperor to ever lived"
Lucas sighed, "that idiot is nowhere near the word 'strong'. They just wanna keep his reputation up."
Did ijekiel heard that right? Lucas called aethernitas an idiot? Ijekiel was still skeptical about it, "but what actually made him an 'idiot'?" He asked, "I mean.. You always know everything" Ijekiel admitted, it was honestly kinda embarrassing.
"Of course i know everything!" Lucas cheerfully stated, while handing himself a caramel, "aethernitas was a weak boy back then, I'm not saying no one can be strong" Lucas explains, "he was weak because of the dar-"
"Wait.." Ijekiel cut off Lucas, "exactly.. How can you know all of these?" Ijekiel asked with a rough expression.
Lucas stayed silent for a couple of seconds, deciding whether of not he'll tell ijekiel his true age. "Lucas.. Answer me" Ijekiel demanded once more.
But it was decided, ijekiel has proven himself to be trustworthy enough. Lucas smirked and leaned forward slightly, "I guess it's time you'd know, ijekiel." Said Lucas.
Ijekiel seated further to the back, ".. Know what.."
"That I'm older then aethernitas."
Ijekiel got up with a shocked expression, Lucas was older then aethernitas..? Ijekiel felt like the one who is always clueless and didn't know anything, but this time he didn't even dare to ask Lucas.
Lucas stared at him. Then eventually laughed, "what's up with that expression whitey?!" Lucas joked, "don't take it too seriously," He convinced ijekiel "sure I'm older, but I fell asleep for 200 years when I was 16."
Lucas tied his long hair with a ribbon after that. Still left with a speechless ijekiel in front of him, "but.. Why didn't you tell me earlier" Ijekiel protested, "I mean, it's not like I'd betray you or anything!"
"Boom. That's it, you've proven yourself trustworthy to me.", those words were unpredictable words coming from the gReAt magician Lucas, but ijekiel felt better now.
"I see." Ijekiel looked down, but it was a relief. "I'm glad that you trust me." Ijekiel smiled warmly. "Hey don't give me that look, whitey" Lucas looked away embarrassed, "but if she never told me to come to you.. I'd never know where I'll be today."
Ijekiel had mixed feelings now, and lucas as well judging from his expression.
Knock knock
A knock, probably from the maid broke the silence. "Come in" Ijekiel called out. It was nina, the maid just bringing a letter, "i'm sorry for interrupting, young master, sir Lucas. But you've receive an invitation to the princess's tea party.
Nina handed out the letter to ijekiel, he stuffed it in his pocket. "Thank you, Nina. I'd decide later, you can go" Ijekiel spoke to Nina, she nodded then left the room shortly.
"Tea party, huh?" Said lucas "not really important." He shrugged it off.
Ijekiel read the letter out loud. Dear ijekiel Alpheus
You are here by invited to the princess's tea party at friday, alongside with the other girls attending. But I hope you can get here, I'll be waiting for a response.

"Oh, that's it." "That was short, totally not a proper invitation card." Lucas mocked. "But maybe we should attend it, to get more clues perhaps." Ijekiel pointed out.
Lucas quickly changed his expression, "good thinking. You can distract those girls and I'll burn the castle down."
Turns out he clearly hadn't changed a bit. Ijekiel looked up at the ceiling, "that's right, I can distract them. You can go finish the hard stuff, but DON'T burn it down." He warned Lucas, "yeah yeah whatever whitey. Why not take a nap for a bit. Maybe athy can give us an idea"
Ijekiel gave out a sighed, "I don't usually take naps, lucas."
Lucas clicked his finger, that dozed off ijekiel right at his couch. "To be honest, I want to see her again." Lucas thought to himself, keeping an eye on ijekiel. "Though you're our only hope."

A/N: I have many issues with this chapter so here's the list: 1. I forgot I wrote "6 hours ago" 2. My vocabulary and creativity is trash 3. The story is cheesy 4. I just now realized that i made Lucas forgot about athy, and ijekiel completely not caring. 5.i think my mind is getting messed up by these late night scenarios(is it even healthy? But whatever) 6. I accidentally made ijekiel and lucas give out couple vibes (depends how you view the story tho^^)
But I try to re-read the manhwa's just incase I get anything wrong lol
