"and what did you say?" Lucas asked, ijekiel was still blurred out from what happened, he couldn't even answer lucas's question there.

What happened:

".. Pardon me?"

Jennette slams her hands on the table, not too hard to disrupt the other people in the estate. "I said I want our marriage to be next week, ijekiel."

Ijekiel couldn't easily decline that, since claude was there, if he dares it'll probably be the end for him. ".. Pardon me, my lady.. But can't you try to reconsider it?" He convinced Jennette, claude glared at him the same way he glared at athanasia in the past.

Jennette sighed, "I've made my decision, ijekiel. No more talking."

Ijekiel just couldn't understand, how can Jennette switch sides in a matter of days..? she was acting normal 2 days ago.

Ijekiel didn't hesitate to convince her again, but she and claude got up and walked to the door, "you better be ready next week, alpheus. If you dare to run away I'll make sure to cut both of your legs off." The emperor warned ijekiel. Then left, leaving ijekiel to think on his own.

Lucas flew back onto the couch at the spare room the estate has "Oh nevermind whitey! I already know." Lucas already gave up to ask ijekiel, since he wouldn't answer him the whole time. Besides Lucas would get bored if there's no drama in the estate.

Lucas got even more bored because ijekiel was literally doing nothing and not giving him information, then he remembered something..

"hey whitey, wanna braid my hair?" Lucas remembered athanasia saying that braiding his hair is sorta calming in some point. Ijekiel lift up his chin, he seemed interested.

Though athanasia wasn't wrong, he used to braid Jennette's hair back when they were little. So ijekiel decided, why not? Lucas don't seem to mind anyway!

Ijekiel rose up from his seat then walked to the other side where Lucas was and sat down on the left side, "huh, i guess she was right" Said lucas.

He (ijekiel) untied lucas's red bow thing, then divided his hair to three. Ijekiel started braiding it, ".. I don't know what I should do now.. I shouldn't have agreed on the engagement back then.."

"But why did that chimera suddenly want the marriage to be accelerated?" Honestly, that was a good point.. Why did Jennette suddenly change her mind..?
Ijekiel stopped, then tried to think why she would do that, then it hit him "perhaps.." He spoke, "does Jennette want to take over the throne as soon as possible?"

That can be why though, "well, marriage between a royal family member and the partner doesn't necessarily mean they'll take over the throne immediately" Lucas corrected, "but it doesn't they can't"

"Is that so..? So maybe then we could try to mess up with the weather a bit?" Ijekiel asked, for Lucas that was a genius idea, "what a wonderful plan, indeed! We just need to go back to the world tre-"

"Wait.. How are we gonna get to the world tree?"
"I never said anything about 'we', whitey."

As ijekiel was finished braiding Lucas's hair, Lucas stretched his arm out.. Then some kind of glowing piece of.. Tree root? Appear on Lucas's hand, "you'll be going there, kid."

Ijekiel never saw such thing, was it a real piece of the world tree? They've taught the kids that the sacred world tree looked like a normal tree in itself, but it was way beyond ijekiel's expectations.

"What? Why aren't you going with me?" Ijekiel refuses to go there alone, not knowing what the place looked like, "chill whitey I didn't say you'd be going there today!" Lucas assured him, "I'm just gonna tell you what you'll need to do there, nothing else"

Ijekiel stayed silent, while Lucas just couldn't understand what's the big deal, "ooh then maaybee.. Just maybee... You do wanna marry that chimera don't you!?"

"Huh?! Of course I don't! Fine I'll go I guess.."

Lucas smirked thinking that method actually worked, "great, anyways I'm tired bye"
