I took a step forward and Dylan laid a hand on my shoulder.

Dylan- "be careful, she's a little bit of a trickster and is a bit sarcastic and cocky. But in the memories that was shown, she looked to be quite the jokester too. So sorry if she is a bit disrespectful alpha." He warns me.

I nod and walk forward. People moved out of my way and I look into the dome to see a girl with her back facing me. I won't not admit that she is quite beautiful and I'm only looking at her back. I continue walking forward and I notice I have actually walked through the dome a little.

'Dad? Was I supposed to walk through the do-' my mind link was cut off when I inhaled a intoxicating scent.

My wolf took control for a few seconds and when I was in control, my wolf had held the girl from behind and around her waist. Her back was to my chest and my face was in the crook of her neck. She was frozen in shock. My wolf growled out.

Ethan- "MATE!"

)Kayla's POV(

I froze when I felt arms encircle my waist.

'What the hell?! I thought I had my dome up!'

'You still do, just wait a second' Rose replied and went into the back corners of my mind.

Guy- "MATE!" I heard the voice behind me growl.

I stiffened when I felt the tingles across my skin. I never felt this with Matthew because I wasn't old enough to feel the mate bond, plus I didn't have a wolf back then. Sadly, my body had instantly relaxed and melted into him. I was still in stock with my eyes widen and my breath hitched. I didn't look behind me yet, and I'm pretty sure I don't want to.

Everyone got quiet. Their eyes wide in shock. My mate was behind me, tightening his grasp on me and inhaling my scent.

Mate- "mine." He grumbled on my neck.

I suddenly flushed a bright red in embarrassment. I've literally been standing here doing nothing but staying silent.

Kayla- "um,....... Can you let go of me?" I ask him timidity and softly.

His grip tightened and he groaned.

Mate- "Nope! Your mine!" He grumbled again.

I rolled my eyes and put my hands on his that was on my waist. I tried to pull him off me but no use, my powers don't really work on him. I hate that the most, my powers would be non-effective. I kept struggling until I stopped from exhaustion. I was panting a bit since I tried hitting him but he stayed stiff and tightened his hold on me.

Kayla- "I swear to goddess! If you don't let go of me I will-" I was cut off by him.

He was chuckling against my neck.

Mate- "What are you going to do? It's not like your powers would work on me." He said cockily and I could feel his smug smirk against my neck.

I suddenly got hit with realization. I've been trying this whole time to get him to let go of me and using my powers on him instead of doing what I should of been doing.

I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest and teleported in front of him, 8 feet away. I narrowed my eyes at him.

He groaned and growled slightly, amused.

Kayla- "You didn't let go Of me. It wasn't fair! Wait a second, I just noticed something." I face palmed.

I got a good 4 feet in front of my mate and put up an invisible dome around us. To anyone around the bigger dome, it would look like we weren't there and we were invisible.

I looked my mate up and down, he was wearing a pair of basket ball shorts and no shirt on. I felt myself googling over his chest before moving on. He had ebony black hair that could be dark as night,and he had piercing sky blue eyes that watched me in amusement.

Mate- "Are you done checking me out yet?" He said with amusement lacing his every word.

I blushed a Scarlet red and looked away.

Kayla- "I've seen better, besides, I was only checking you over to see if you had weapon." I lied cockily.

He smirks. What's he thinking about?

Mate- "Honey, I don't think we've formally met. My name is Ethan and I'm pretty sure my sexyness is my weapon." He smirks at me as I gape in frustration.

I turned and walked a foot out of the dome with my face blushing a slight red and come in eye contact with Jasmine, Cole, Dylan and Jake. My blush deepened as Jasmine raised an eyebrow at me. I was about to a snide comment when two hands pulled me back in the invisible dome.

I was turned face to face with a smirking Ethan.

Ethan- "Oh no, I'm not letting you go that easy. Kayla." He whispered in my ear.

My eyes widened when I heard him say my name.
