Even if she was only the grandchild, her facial structure looked so much like Sophia's, only Sophia had blonde hair and blue eyes. Seeing as her eyes seemed to glisten slightly with recognition, I teleported quickly without Ethan to Marissa. Reappearing in front of her and holding her face in my hand and caressing her cheeks with my thumbs.

In the past, after Marissa's parents died, she was attacked by vampyras (the rouge version of a Vampire) and I had protected her. She was only 12 (physically) and after I left, she found a old picture of me and the Magcon group up in the attic of the Pack house. Although I looked different in my immortal days, anyone could still tell it was me.

Taking hold of one of her hands I teleported us back to Ethan, Jack and Jamie. Trixie and Ashley looked confused and didn't know whether to attack or go back inside and just eat junk food. Or at least that's what it looked in my mind.

Letting go of Marissa, I took hold of Ethan's hand and smiled towards them warmly, hoping they would notice we mean no harm. Looking towards them all And Marissa who seemed to freak out mentally in her head, I looked towards Ethan and silently told him to let me handle this.

Pecking his cheek, I introduced us.

Kayla- "My name is Kayla and this is my mate Ethan. We are the Alpha and Luna of the Shadow Night Pack."

*Jacks POV*

I inhaled deeply and looked to my brother, mind linking him immediately after hearing her say those words with an over excited smile.

Jack- "Isn't the Shadow Night Pack the one we were going to ally with and come to live on their safety lands?" I whisper, even if we were in pack link.

Jamie did the same, answering back to me.

Jamie- "Yea, it is. I thought the alpha and Luna was going to be older then that though. They are basically our age." He whispered back, looking at Kayla's grinning face and Ethan's nervous smile.

Trixie- "It seems a bit suspicious don't you think? We were going to go travel there in a couple days, but they show up right before?" She cuts in calmly.

As I was about to reply to her curious comment, Ashely interrupts and I immediately sweat drop.

Ashley- "So? You think everything's suspicious. Last week you got suspicious because that guy gave you a free sample at Sam's Club!" She snickered.

Me and Jamie exchange looks, knowing how this was going to work out. No one could get Trixie even the slightest bit mad or get on her nerves, that it's creepy.

Trixie- "BECAUSE HE ONLY GAVE ME ONE!! THERE WAS THIS OTHER GUY THERE BUT HE DIDNT GIVE HIM ONE!! THATS SUSPICIOUS!!!!" She growled out.

..........except Ashley can get her mad so fast that you would think she has Anger Management Issues.

Marissa- "Stop it," she said softly in the pack link she so rarely uses that it makes all the fighting stop. "We can trust these people, the girl is older than she looks. She won't let anyone be a danger to us either. It's.......safe."

Everyone one looked at her, surprised. I was going to ask how she knew but I noticed she wasn't looking at me and she was clasping onto the locket she always wore around her neck. She wasn't looking towards the pack either. She was looking towards the Luna of the Shadow Night Pack.

Marissa- "You were the wolf weren't you? The one that protected me the night my parent were attacked by the vampyras." She asked Kayla.

As I gulped down the sudden lump in my neck, I watched as Kayla's grin faltered and wavered into a gentle sad smile.

Kayla- "Yes that was me. It appeared that the Goddess above blocked my magic before I could get to your parents. It was their time to go and I wasn't allowed to interfere." She said surprising me.

Jamie- "how old are you?!" He blurted out next to me making me face palm.

Even Kayla looked surprised before she answered cautiously. A nervous smile on her face like the one her mate had before us having this conversation.

Kayla- "well......... I'd like to like I'm around 317 or so years old." She laughed nervously as all our jaws dropped, except Marissa and Ethan.

Jack and Jamie- "What are you?" We couldn help but to ask in unison.

While we might have heard that the Shadow Night Lands were safe from enemies and rouges, we actually didn't know how. So we couldn't help it to ask a question like that.

For the first time since she got here, Marissa looked kind of nervous while waiting for the answer.

Kayla- "I'm..... Glad you asked. Im the seekist that, well, 'died' 300 years ago." She answered, abet nervously.

(A/N: I hope you have enjoyed the update! I know I haven't updated in so long but that's only because I was busy and was only able to post today. But that could also be because I'm super lazy but don't want to admit it. I'll try to update the next chapter soon.
