I nodded to her, as a motion to go.
She's obviously related to Finn and Kieran, so i can trust her.
"My name is Isabelle Zipito, Finn's mother. So Kieran's grandma."
Looks like Matt was right. she is his grandma.
Huh."Finn's father couldn't live with us. So Finn and I were on our own for a long time. Finn's father was in a gang, but he stayed away from Finn and I to try to keep us safe."
"He thought that if he stayed away, we wouldn't be discovered, that Finn wouldn't have the risk of being hunted."
"It was terrible. Finn grew up with only seeing her father once a month, when she was at the playground. It was never the same one, and they were always at lease 15 miles apart from each other."
"So as Finn grew up, she got into the whole computer thing. Hacking and searching people up online. Doing background checks on random people."
"She learned how to send secret messages without being traced back, she had burner phones and she stuck with this stuff since she was 12."
"She wished there was something she could have done for her father. Because even thought she was left by him, he was alone. She had me, I had her. He had no one."
"So she listened to people around her, talking about their late night activities, where she would then investigate into those people."
"She did this for years, and one of the people she helped was Jack."
I'm starting to think this story isn't just about the gang.
"So Jack brought her to his base, she met the crew, and they helped each other. She stayed in their ear, or on their screen. Wherever they were, Finn was there."
"Yada yada, they date get married, and have a kid. They didn't want any of this to leave. Finn wanted Jack to stay, no matter the risk. They had each others back."
"Finn and Jack taught Kieran as he grew up. At first it was what is right and wrong. What to do when someone needs help. Then as he got older, Jack had him take lessons, get him ready for combat if he ever needed it."
As Kieran grew up, Finn and Jack stayed in the gang, and Jack got promoted to second command, then a few years later, he became the leader."
"Jack has been doing his best for his family, and Finn has been teaching her son what is the right thing to do in the end."
"I wasn't okay with my daughter falling in love with a gang member at first, I was scared she would go through the same thing I did, but she didn't."
"She fought her way to who she is now, and she wants to help others."
I nodded taking it all in. I mean damn that's a lot to happen, and obviously they trust us enough to tell us everything, even when we haven't sealed any deals or anything.
"Along with her son."
I looked behind me from the chair i was in.
In walked Kieran. He had on an all black outfit. Black pants with a black long sleeve shirt.

He walked into the room. Coming towards me and his grandma.
"My mom didn't want me to grow up and not know what is actually happening in the world. So she taught me how i can help, and then as i got older, dad taught me how to fight."
Isabelle got up, and walked to the door.
After she left, Kieran said, "I'll tell the rest of the story."
He spun around slowly, and then backed up a few steps.
He put his hand in front of my face.
"Here, follow me."
I reached up my hand and put it in his palm.
His very very big palm.He helped lift me up off the chair.
I walked a little behind him out of the room, but once we were in the hallway, i was on his right side.
We walked in a comfortable silence, until we got to our destination.
We were in the basement.
"Since my dad is the leader, we allow some of the more important members to come here to workout."
He pointed around to the weights stacked up on the wall. And the box, that's what we like to call it, to practice sparring.
"This is usually my dads area. He spends the most time down here, always teaching knew recruits and teaching more advanced moves to people. He does it in a process, it's complicated."
He had a smirk playing at his lips.
"So does your mom know how to fight back?" I turned to look at him.
He had a blank face on his face. He went to speak but i cut him off.
"She doesn't seem to like violence, i wasn't sure if she wanted to stay out of that part."
"She absolutely hates violence, gets queasy from the sight of blood, but she will never look away until she knows that person is safe."
"But if it's to protect herself, she will do whatever she can do. She can shoot a gun, she can throw a punch, but she's the best at hacking, it's her specialty."
We walked to the back of the workout room, and there was a door at the end.
We went through it, and there was sound deafening pieces on the walls, and a bunch of pc monitors.
This must be the nerd room. The hackers are the best part, their like a chip on your shoulder.
"This is where my mom spends her time. Teaching code to people who don't exactly feel comfortable fighting others."
"No one is forced to do anything they don't want to do. And they can back out at anytime. We just want to help others, especially since my mom knows what to do in most situations."
"What about the risks? She's fine with that? The kids here are fine with it? You are fine with it?"
He looked at me. "Aren't your risks worse?"
"Yes, but that's only because of what has happened in the past few years. If you asked me this same question 4 years, i would say no, buts it's not four years ago."
"I was born into the gangs, my dads been the leader since he was around 18, when his dad passed away. My mom was in the gang, she was on his team when there were on missions, so they were pretty close."
"They didn't really start dating til my dad was 24, and my mom 23. There weren't threats against them, that were as bad as they are now. It only got bad until my brother and i were born."
He looked at me, his eyes widening fast, he tried not to show it.
"Brother?"
