It's been around two hours since you've been stuck up in the tree and down below the three Titans have multiplied into six, but no more have shown up, so you're sure that's all their is.

It doesn't matter though, there's no way to get out of here without either being eaten or falling to your deaths. We can't our run them either because the horses are long gone.

"I was hoping someone would've shown up by now," Jean sighs as he swings his legs back and forth over the edge of the branch. "I mean, our horses are trained to find the nearest people, but I guess no one was around."

"Doesn't that mean all the scouts posted throughout the woods have been killed?" You grimace at the thought of how they probably had gone out. Being eaten or trampled by a Titan is one of the worst ways to go.

"I think so," Armin sighs, still leaning against the tree with his right hand covering his his eyes as he thinks. He's been like that for over an hour. "We're stuck up here. Someone will find us eventually when they bring more supplies or realize that Jean hasn't come back to Headquarters."

"Oh right," Jean nods. "I told them I was coming back today after lunch, so when I don't show up they'll come looking for us."

"Yeah, but they'll think I killed you guys," you laugh nervously.

"No they won't," Armin disagrees, his hand dropping down to his lap as his blue eyes meet yours.

"I beg to differ," you stand up, placing your hands on your lower back and bending so you can stretch out your spine. "But I guess they'll see our situation soon enough. In the meantime, how about we try to figure out who tried to burn me alive."

"Well..." Armin taps his chin. "It has to be someone who believes in Erens cause, so probably someone in Flochs crew."

"Weren't they just put in jail?" Jean turns and looks at the two of you.

"Right..." Armin nods. "So if someone tries to come after you again, we'll know it's not one of them."

"Why did they go to jail?" You wonder, since Floch is on your list of people you want to punch in the face.

"He told everyone we put Eren in a cell and they thought that wasn't very smart of us since he's..." Jean clenches his jaw. "...since he's doing what's best for Paradis."

"Well he just threw you all into a war," you say with a slight amused tone. "Doesn't seem like he wants what's best for you guys."

"You don't know him," Armins expression darkens and his voice lowers to a murmur.

"You're right," you try to bite your tongue, but you definitely have an opinion on the Attack Titan holder. "But what I do know is what Reiner has told me and what I have seen. He killed innocent people with the attack on Marley and you know what...he made you guys do the same."

"You were going to wage war on us," Jean points out. "We just got to you first. Let's not forget that you guys sent your people here and started this whole mess. You tore down the wall and let Titans in, killing way more than what we did. So don't think you can turn this on us."

"We've both done bad things," you admit, seeing their point. "But what's this doing? If we keep on going with these battles, there will be no stopping. This rumbling thing is going to kill us all."

"What do you know about the rumbling?" Armin inquires.

"Just as much as you guys do," you shrug. "But I'm sure Eren knows more about it. Maybe you should ask him everything he's keeping from you."

"What would he be hiding?" Armin leans forward, hugging his knees to his chest.

"I'm not sure, that's the whole point of  hiding something..." you purse your lips out. "But I'm positive there's more to his plan that he's not telling you."
