"Do you want to go eat something?"

"It saddens me that you even need to ask this."

I chuckle, shaking my head to my brother as we step out of the movie theater. Today is Friday, I went to my cooking class in the morning and part of the afternoon, and as I walked to Bobo after class I was surprised with the sight of my brother leaning against the passenger's door and waiting for me.

Ever since the last time we saw each other, that day at Harry's house, we've been trying to meet and have a little bro and sis time, and I'm glad we got to do this today. I miss my brother, and it has been ages since we last got the opportunity to spend some quality time together.

We watched Liar, Liar, and it was a blast - it's been ages since I'd laugh so hard. For a moment there I was afraid of literally peeing my pants. I simply love Jim Carrey, the guy is a genius when it comes to making comedy.

Marcos and I walk side by side by the sidewalk, looking around in search for a nice burger place for us to eat. I mean, I don't even need to ask my brother what kind of thing he wants to eat - I know it's going to be a burger, he has been living off of this for 18 years now.

"This restaurant is fly." My brother announces as we walk across a green door with a tiny led sign in red, reading BURGER. I wouldn't even pay attention to it if it wasn't for Marcos, it's such a hidden place. "I came here with a girl the other night and it's definitely the best burger in town."

"Uhh, who is this girl?" I ask, raising my eyebrows as I follow him inside the burger place. It's really tiny, only 4 booths, but smells incredible. "Girlfriend alert!"

"Not fucking way." Marcos rolls his eyes. "I don't date."

"You know..." I tease him as we sit on the only vacant booth near the window. "Every fuckboy who says I don't date are usually the first ones to fall hard for the first girl they decide to break a rule for, like oh, I don't go on dates, blah blah blah" I imitate his deep voice. "It's in every cliche romance book."

"You're reading too much, sis." Marcos doesn't fall for my teasing. "Was that what Harry told you, huh? That he doesn't date?"

"Oh, no, he never said anything like that." I roll my eyes, my cheeks burning and heart racing just by the mention of his name. "Besides, we're not, like... Boyfriend and girlfriend. We're just hanging out."

"E meu nome é Papai Noel." He sneers, in Portuguese. "You two are fucking living together, Maria, get your head out of your ass."

"We're not living together! I'm just staying at his house for a while.... Dani is too!" I try to defend myself.

Marcus just chuckles, his eyes going down to the menu glued to the table. Before doing the same, I just observe my little brother - it's been so long since we've last bonded like this, I really miss him.

He's looking bulkier than he was before, which means he has probably been hitting the gym every once in a while. I think it's great that he's exercising, it's a healthy habit - a really welcomed one, considering he has smoked around 8 cigarettes ever since we met earlier today. His hair is a tad greasy, but I think it's just because he keeps running his fingers through it, on a nervous tic that keeps reminding me of Harry, who does the same when his hair is not tied up on a bun.

"Staring much?" Marcos mumbles, without even looking up from the menu. "Stop being weird and choose what you want to eat already."

I giggle, doing as he says and finally looking down to the menu glued to the table. The first thing I notice is that it completely doesn't make sense for Marcos to be even looking at it, let alone for as long as he has been. The menu has 5 itens, including a cheeseburger, a double cheeseburger,  curly fries, soda and beer. Not even water, coffee or any kind of dessert, apparently.
