Max's pov

Chloe drove towards the next town which was miles away whilst I slept, she said it was okay so I did only waking up when we came to a motel. Obliviously we checked for survivors first and quiet a few people seemed okay, we found Joice and she told us to go Chloe and I still wanted to leave and she knew that, we didn't belong there we never did, life on the road would be for us.

"I'll go check us in." Chloe said as she got out of the car and headed to the front desk. She soon came back and got back in the car. "I got us a room. " Chloe drove into the room's parking space before shutting the truck off and we both headed inside.

The room wasn't too bad it had two bed, an old TV, a small bathroom and a sofa. "So I was thinking you should get a tattoo." I laughed her comment off and answered, "Chloe we have a 100$ that your mum gave us plus the money we have only gives us 164$ so we need to watch our savings. " Chloe sighed and sat on one of the beds. "Oh Max always so practical. "

We spent the rest of the night watching the shitty TV and just talking and laughing together. We had packed some clothes up along with somethings Chloe wanted to keep with her and of course I kept my camera. I picked it up and took a picture of Chloe eating some crips on her bed. "Did you get my good side?" Chloe joked which made me laugh before sitting on my bed. "Very side is your good side. " I whispered hoping Chloe didn't hear me.

I led ontop of the covers and asked Chloe. "Did you and Rachel ever do anything?" Chloe looked to me and laughed."What do you mean?" I then blushed hard and covered my face. "You know like girlfriend stuff." I watch Chloe smile, "yeah sometimes, I guess she never really liked me back and I never loved her, it was just a crush, when you kissed me I remembered the crush I had on you. It was so much stronger than the one I had for Rachel." I sat up and asked,

"Would you ever want to kiss me again?" Chloe looked to me with a shocked expression on her face, before it changed and Chloe jumped on me to kiss me as she pinned me to the bed. I kissed back and smiled at her when we had to pull away for air. "I think I love you Max." I smiled and touched her cheek. "I think I love you too Chloe. "

The two of us spent the night in my bed, Chloe blaming it on the cold but I knew why she wanted to be in my bed really. I cuddled in her side before placing my hand on her stomach to feel that her shirt had ridden up a little bit. I fell asleep to the sound of her breathing.

I woke up the next morning and saw Chloe still asleep. I grabbed my camera and stood over her to get a shot of her sleeping. Chloe woke up to the flash noise. "That is terrifying." Chloe laughed before pulling my leg so I fell down on top of her. "I want to take a photo of every morning we wake up together." Chloe smiled and I kissed her. "Great idea Max."

Then we're soon on the road again. Chloe drove along a queit road whilst her loud music played and she danced along. "I feel like getting a video camera." I joked as I watched her. "How expensive are those disposable ones?" Chloe asked smiling I shook my head, "not sure we could always check out a camera shop, I need more film anyway." Chloe nodded before adding. "Would it be a good investment to get a trailer. We could sleep in there instead of paying for motels every night." I beamed excited at our future as we drove along this never ending road.

A year later.

We are still on the road naturally but now we have a mini school bus since Chloe saw one that was renovated into a mobile home Chloe bought it and we never looked back. It had a small kitchen, a sofa that turned into a bed, a bathroom, and two chairs for us at the front. We have saved a lot more money since we bought it. We both make money by doing any odd jobs small business need such as deliveries for a day or cafe / bar jobs letting our bosses know that we would only been a week maybe less in each place.

We would always make enough money for shopping, petrol, any money for repairs and money we would save for personal things but would go to others when needed. I had taken a photo of Chloe every morning for a year now we had stuck them to a pin board in our mini bus. I looked them over before taking another of Chloe making sure to get her newly dyed hair in the shot. I dyed it in our bathroom yesterday because it had gotten very muted.

Luckily it's back to her bright blue that I love so much. "Good morning." I said to the half naked girl underneath me. Chloe looked at the new photo before writing the date and state we were in and pinning it up. "Good morning love, this never gets old." Chloe said referring to waking up in our bus with a wall right infront covered in her face or body. I got a few of her naked back, those where my favourites.

I kissed Chloe before standing up also being naked apart from my pants. "Eggs?" I asked before putting Chloe's button up on without doing as the name suggests. "You are so sexy, half naked in my shirt. And yes please. " I smiled as Chloe said this before she got up too and pulled the blanket and pillows off of the mattress before closing the bed and putting everything on the sofa. Chloe sat on the floor like usual as I cooked the eggs.
