Asami's Letter Korra x Asami. 🥰

This is based on if the line "I almost told you in one of my letters" that Asami says in the comicsif it was actually how Asami told Korra she liked her and what follows after.

Korra's pov

I was led in my bed praying for sleep. I still couldn't feel my legs and my arms were only just gaining mobility back. I was so lost in thought I didn't even hear my mother come in with a stack of letters from Republic City. "Hey Korra, Asami wrote to me as well she would love a reply from you. I can write it if you need me to." My mother said.

I nodded and took the top letter, Asami's hand writing. "Okay mum I'll right to her." I read through the letter.

"Dear Korra

I am writing to tell you that everything has been going great with the business, and I can't wait to take you out for a spin in the race car again.

There is also something I should of told you the day you left but I was to afraid.

Korra, I really like you, I love you. I want to come see you, I know you didn't want me to come with you before but I hope you will now.

Please write back to me.

Your's if you'll have me Asami."

I couldn't believe what I just read! I quickly yelled. "Mum get me a pen and paper please!" My mum did just that and I wrote down everything I needed to to answer Asami.

A few days later:

Asami's pov

I was on the first ship I could get on heading towards the south. I saw it coming into view, I then saw Korra and her parents waving on the dock. I was so excited. I can't believe she loves me.

The boat soon docked and I walked off before rushing to hug Korra. "Korra!" I yelled before kneeling down to her height in the chair as she smiled back. "Hey Asami." I smiled at her before standing up to greet her parents. "Hello again Asami." Her father said smiling. "Hello Sir, I hope its no trouble me staying here?" Her father laughed. "Oh of course not Asami!"

Korra's mum smiled and then turned Korra around in the chair so I could push her just like I did back home. It was a little cold but I was perfectly happy here, knowing the girl I love, loves me. I pushed her back to her house where her mother showed me to Korra's room.

"Your room Asami is just next door, that is unless you two want to share?" Korra blushed hard and so did I as we looked at eachother before I answered. "I'll share with you, Korra. If you want?" Korra nodded and I helped her into the bed. "Right it's late so you too better sleep, if you are hungry Asami there is some food still left out. I'm sorry we couldn't have dinner with you." Her mother said. I smiled and said. "Oh no don't worry I ate on the boat." She smiled and I got into the other side of the bed after stripping down and putting on my pjs of course.

"Here, have the fur. You'll freeze out here." Korra said whilst handing me a big fur blanket. Naga was sound asleep on the other side of the room. Which made me smile to see her again. "If I yell in my sleep don't worry." Korra said as she played with my fingers."I held her hand and kissed her nuckles. "Korra I will always worry about you, let me help you okay?" Korra looked at me a blushed. "Okay, thankyou Asami. You are too good to me." I smiled held her close before we both fell asleep.

The next morning Korra was trying to walk again. "You can do it Korra." I said from the other side. "I can't." She sighed which made me frown. "If you do I'll give you a kiss." I said smirking as she looked at me. "Asami..." She whinned before trying to talk towards me. She slipped again but kept trying until she got to me!

I hugged her and held her up to save her strength before the wheel chair was brought round. "You promised me a kiss." Korra smirked. I laughed before kissing her cheek and then her head before pulling her up for a kiss on the lips. "Thankyou so much Asami!" Korra grinned before I picked her up and kissed her again. "I love you Korra." Korra smiled "I love you too."
