But Korra and Asami meet at a conference instead. Everyone there was incoraged to bring their heirs so they can get used to the business world. Asami takes Korra into a back room shorty after they meet, and they get to know each other. They remain friends and write to each other a lot, and on her next visit, Korra explores the city with Asami.

Korra asks Asami out on a date, and Sami says yes. They date for as long as Korra is their and become girlfriends. They are long distance until Korra moves to Republic City at the age of 18.

Now they have been dating for around a year, and Asami is over working herself too much, and Korra can tell. So she makes the perfect date for Asami.

Asami's POV

I was sat at my desk going through all of the work I still wanted to get done when my assistant buzzed in. "Ms Sato, you're 1 o'clock is here should I send her in?" I sighed and pressed the speaker button. "Yes. Send her up." I cleaned the desk the best I could and brushed myself off. I heard a knock come from the door, so I walked towards it and opened it to see Korra! I pulled her in quickly and kissed her lips before she could say anything.

I hadn't seen her in about a week because of my work. I felt really bad that Korra thought she had to book an appointment just to come and see me. I pulled my lips away but held on to her tight. "Korra, what are you doing here?" I asked, shocked and happy all at the same time. "I am your 1 o'clock to 5 o'clock appointment. I made sure your assistant didn't book any appointments in so I could take you out, Sami."

I grinned from ear to ear and then dropped my hands down. "Oh, Korra! Thank you, but I have so much work! I need to finish all of this before..."  Korra stopped me with a kiss and held my hands in hers. "Sami! I've already talked to your assistant, and she told me you've completely overdone everything, trying to make every last detail count. She said you even redid a whole scamatic you have been working on for a month in one sitting because you saw too many flaws when your dad had already said it was perfect. Asami, over working yourself isn't good for you or the company. Come with me, I promise it will be worth it." Korra smiled and me with her huge pleading eye. I kissed her nose and squeezed her hands before answering. "Of course, Korra. You are right. You're always right about these things." Korra's smile grew into a smirk, and she let go of my hands so I could get my bag, and we left the building.

Once Korra had stopped the car, I realised where we were. It was an old book cafe where you have to be mostly quiet unless you are sharing a book or ordering food. It is an amazing place, but I barely get to go anymore. "Oh, Korra! You are incredible!" I said before kissing her again and running my fingers threw her hair. "I knew you'd be happy about being back." Korra said after pulling away and getting out of the car.

We entered the cafe, and Korra ordered two iced lemonades, two sandwiches, and a cake. I picked a spot in the corner and scanned threw the book titles. I wish I had brought my book, I haven't been able to finish it recently.  Korra put the tray down and sat down in the window steat next to me. I smiled, and Korra got something out of her backpack. "Look what I brought." She said, waving my book! I wrapped my arms around her neck and beamed. "Thank you, Korra." I whisper yelled. Korra smiled, and I kissed her again.

Korra smiled and asked. "Can you read it to me? I don't mind about where you left off. I just want to be a part of your happiness." I awed at Korra and kissed her cheek. She is always so romantic when she wants to be. I started reading as Korra ate her sandwich and listened. I put my back against the wall of the window seat, and Korra did the same on the other side. I felt her watching me as I read the book.
