Walking back to my tent, I sat down in the corner with my hands over my head. I wanted to cry and scream from frustration but I couldn't. I had to be strong for Wonkru, for Octavia.

It was never intended to start an argument with Bellamy. He just didn't understand the Wonkru way and how we handled things in our clan. We are one and if we are not Wonkru, we are the enemy. It has been and it will always be this way.

A light sting on my arm caused me to slap myself, thinking that it was perhaps a fly or a mosquito biting me. Instead the sting turned into a sharp pain, it felt as though something was crawling in my veins.

Instantly, I screamed as loud as I can. The pain was unbearable and it was escalating every second. Bellamy and Clarke barged in, saw me on the ground as they tried to identify what was wrong with me.

'Get it out! It's in my arm!' I yelled, holding onto my arm while Clarke and Bellamy helped me up on a chair.

'I see it, it's crawling in her skin.' Clarke quickly went in her bag and tied my upper arm, trying to keep the parasite from going anywhere else. 'What the hell is that thing?'

Bellamy held onto my hand, 'I'm here Y/N. Don't worry okay?'

Octavia walked in with Indra, 'I heard screams. What's going on?'

'Clarke, get this thing out please!'

'It's going to hurt, Y/N.' She said before cutting my arm. The pain was nowhere near as bad as the parasite in me, I also just wanted this over with.

'Got it!' Clarke shouted as she grabbed onto the parasite in my skin. She immediately pulled it out and stuck it in a jar.

Breathing heavily, I wiped the tears off of my face. Bellamy looked at me, 'Are you okay?'

'I feel like I'm going to pass out but other than that, peachy.'

'Where did it come from?' Indra asked.

Mumbling, I answered. 'I was sitting on the ground and it just happened. I barely saw it but I guess I wasn't paying attention.'

'It sounds like it came from the sands.' Clarke sounded worried. 'Octavia, we have to retreat. Now. We don't know how many other worms are out here.'

'Bellamy, this is Monty.' The radio crackled as it started ringing. 'Diyoza is about to launch a missile.'

Whilst holding my hand for support and comfort, he answered the radio with the other hand. 'Missile?'

'They're in the sky right now and they have eyes on you guys. You have to move, now.'

'Wonkru does not retreat, we cannot go anywhere.' Octavia approached Bellamy.

'Octavia, your friend is hurt. For all we know this worm could've laid eggs in Y/N. We need a safe place and observe her.'

I shook my head, 'I'm fine. Besides, going back to the ruins of Polis isn't safe. The sandstorm is that way.'

'The venom is still inside you, you're in no condition to walk or go anywhere.' Clarke said as she wrapped my arm with bandages she brought from her back pack.

'Clarke, I said I'm fine. Wonkru needs this valley and we're going to take it away from them.' I quickly stood up, but I probably got up too fast because I felt as though I was going to faint any second.

I started feeling light headed and my vision went blurry. Bellamy held on to me as I failed to keep balance. 'Reyes, are you okay?'

'Yeah.' I mumbled, trying to process the path I'm trying to take to get out of the tent.
