Chapter 7

'You've got all your plans lined up?' Octavia sat on the chair in the office as she crossed her legs.

'Yup. Told the guards everything they need to know about Shallow Valley and where Raven and John may be located.'

Octavia nodded, 'Good. You're really going to sacrifice yourself for these people, huh.'

'Raven and John are all I got left. I need to save them.' I looked down as I crossed my arms.

'No. You got me too Y/N, remember?' She stood up and approached me, putting her fist up. 'You and I, right?'

Lifting my head up, I smiled and gave her a fist bump. 'Me and you, always.'

The sudden noise from the door startled me, making me readjust myself and stand up straight for the visitor. 'Blake?'

'Reyes. Can I speak to my sister please?'

I looked over at Octavia, waiting for her response. After all, Bellamy and Clarke tried to sabotage our plan to take over Shallow Valley.

'Whatever you need to tell me, you can tell in front of Y/N.' Octavia starred at her brother intensely.

'O, I was just hoping that me and you ca-'

'No.' Octavia mumbled as she slowly walked over to him. 'I love you, brother but you keep pulling shit like that and I won't be able to save you. It's starting to get out of hand.'

Bellamy huffed, 'I had to do what I had to do. I can't let you kill my family.'

'I'm just going to leave you guys alon-'

'Stay, Y/N. You should hear this too.' Octavia reached for my hand, pulling me towards her. 'Bellamy, whether you like it or not we're going through with this plan. I need that Valley for us.'

He paused for a bit, as if he was thinking of what to say. A few moments later, he nodded slowly. 'Okay, okay.'

'Good, we agree.' Octavia bit her lip as she looked at him.

'Mhm.' Bellamy mumbled as he walked over to his sister for a hug.

They both hugged each other, acknowledging that they've finally sort of worked things out. At least for now.

While resting his head on Octavia's shoulder, Bellamy eyed me as tears started to fall from his eyes. Something in me didn't feel right, my instincts were telling me he wasn't crying for the right reasons.

Octavia then started to whine, as if she was in pain but she wasn't resisting nor tried to push Bellamy away. Instead, she slowly fell to the ground. She whispered, 'Y/N. Y/N.'

'What did you do?' I shouted, charging towards Bellamy.

'I'm sorry.' Bellamy mumbled as he covered her mouth. 'This is what I have to do to save us all.'

The rage in me took over my body as I pulled him off of Octavia and pushing him against the ground while lying on his stomach. Sitting on his back, I grabbed both his hands and gripped it tightly behind him.

'I'm not asking again, what did you do to her?'

Bellamy groaned, 'Monty's algae is a bit toxic so I gave Octavia a dose. She should be awake in a couple of hours. I just need time.'

'What can possibly be more important that you had to poison your sister?'

'Diyoza made a deal to share the Valley if Wonkru surrenders. Once Madi shows that she's nightblood, Wonkru would follower her as their new commander. You know that Octavia will never surrender so I had to do what I had to do.'
