21 - Fallin All In

Shawn.

Eleanor is coming over to my apartment in a few minutes and I'm nervous as heck. The reason why i invited her over was because i wanted to let her listen to one of the songs that in my upcoming album before everyone else hears it. This song in particular is very special to me because she was the inspiration behind it.

I quickly clear my living room up one last time and as i was wiping the table, the door bell rings. I quickly throw the wet wipe away and fix my hair before opening the door. "Hey babe." I greet with a smile when i see Elle. "Babe? Really?" She asks as she steps in. "Can't i call my girlfriend babe?" I argue and she laughs. "Of course you can." She says before sitting down on the sofa. "The food should be here any minute. Hope you're okay with chinese." I tell her and she nods excitedly. "I'm more than okay." She replies and i sit down next to her.

After a few minutes, the door bell rings again and i stand up immediately to get it. I pay the delivery man, not forgetting the tip and take the food from him. I bring it to the living room and Elle is watching every step i take. We both dig into the food and it was super delicious. I had thought about cooking for Elle as it would've been a romantic gesture but I remember that she's a way better cook than me and ordering in would be a much safer choice. Once we were done eating, Elle helped to clear up the boxes and throw them into the bin while i set up the speaker system.

"The reason why i invited you over was so you could hear one of the songs in my new album before it's released." I say, my voice shaking a little. I've always written about love and heartbreaks but have never experienced any and this was the first time that the song was written about a true story and not a made up one. And not to mention, the girl in the story is the one sitting right next to me. "I would love to." She says as she shifts closer to me. I click the track that i want her to listen to and it plays loudly in the speakers.

As the song plays, i catch myself mouthing the words while Elle is swaying to the beat of the music with a smile on her face. As the song ends and the instruments fade, i stop the music on my phone. "What do you think?" I ask as my heart pounds. "I love it Shawn, it's really amazing." She compliments and i feel my heart beat calm down. "You're the inspiration behind this song." I confess and she looks at me with glitter in her eyes. "Really?" She asks innocently. "Yes Elle, I'm falling in all in you." I say in a cheesy tone and she rolls her eyes.

I place my arm around her and she scoots closer to me. "How did i get so lucky?" She says out loud and we turn to face each other. We're just a couple of inches away and a million thoughts run through my head. The both of us lean in and the moment our lips touch, i feel the electricity cursing through my veins. Our lips move in sync and it feels like we both needed this. She pulls away slowly and we look at each other momentarily before pressing our lips together again, wanting more. My hands cup her cheeks and her arms are around my neck. We pull away slowly, our foreheads still against each other. She playfully hits my nose with hers before pulling apart and laying her head on my lap. I play with her hair and she closes her eyes, enjoying the moment.

Elle falls asleep as i hear soft snores coming from her. I bridal style carry her to be my bed and lay her down. I kiss her forehead softly before going to the bathroom to wash up. After i was done, i headed back to the bedroom and laid beside Elle, falling asleep slowly.

Author's Note!

Kind of a filler chapter but it's a cute one because eek Shawn and Elle kissed! Finally, am i right? I know it's kind of long awaited for them to kiss, but I wanted them to take things slow. Anyways, my holidays are ending soon so hopefully i can still update regularly. Please don't be a ghost reader and help to vote and comment!
