[Y/N's POV]

its been a week since jungwon confessed and we became closer with jay, jake, and sunghoon.

every lunch time i'd sit in a table with all 6 of them. basically, i sit in a table with yeona, aera, sunghoon, jay, jake, and of course, jungwon.

as we were eating lunch, yeona asked jungwon and i a question.

"soo.."

i turned my head to yeona.

"are you two finally dating, or what?"

"no." i replied.

"not yet." jungwon wiggled his eyebrows.

"ew."

"meanie."

lunch break was finally over and we headed to our classrooms.

the teacher entered and started teaching us a few boring lessons, but i couldnt even focus.

yeona's question earlier kept my mind very, very distracted.

'i mean he hasnt.. made a move yet.'

the day went by as usual and the school day was over.

jay would walk yeona home and sunghoon would do the same to aera.

its been a while since i last walked home with aera and yeona.

but its okay, i have jungwon. ill get used to it.

as we were walking home together, jungwon spoke up.

"you know, ive been thinking about what happened earlier."

i looked at him.

"are we a thing?"

i sighed.

"no, jungwon. we arent."

jungwon kept silent.

"im not quite.. ready? you know? having a relationship isnt easy.. atleast thats what i was told. i mean, love is quite.. scary. maybe when the time is right, jungwon."

jungwon nodded.

"i understand."

after a while, we finally reached my house.

"bye, jungwon. take care on your way home."

"i will. now go inside your house."

"i will once you leave."

"ill leave once you go inside."

"you're so cringy."

"yeah but you like me."

"ew."

jungwon laughed and finally turned around.

i was about to close door until i heard jungwon call my name.

"y/n!"

"what? go home!"

"i'll wait! for you!" jungwon shouted.

i giggled at him.

"go home! you weirdo!" i shouted back.

jungwon ran. as soon as he was out of sight, i finally closed my door.

[JUNGWON's POV]

i ran home, smiling widely to myself. i had a hard time gathering all my confidence just to shout those 5 words.

i opened my door and greeted my mom.

"im homee!"

"jungwon! welcome home!" my mom smiled, widely.. no. maybe too wide.

"mom, did something come up? you seem excited."

"jungwon, i have a small.. well maybe a big surprise for you."

"what is it?"

my mom grabbed my arm and led me to my room.

"ta-da!" my mom cheered.

"wonie! i missed you so so so so much!" a girl ran up to me and giving me a big hug.

the girl looked at me and smiled.

i was beyond surprised. i was so surprised that i couldn't even say anything.

perhaps, surprised is an understatement.

"n-nice to see you again,"

"yuri."
