[3RD PERSON POV]

everyone gathered around the hospital room, talking to y/n about whatever happened in school.

"soo, what'd i miss out on today?"

"yuri was concerned about you!"

"yeah, she was even willing to pay for your hospital bills."

"what?! what'd you guys say??" y/n asked.

"we told her that it's your decision. i don't know, she'll probably ask you or something."

y/n heavily sighed. she didn't wanna be a big burden to yuri. they weren't even close, so why would she do that for her?

"anything else?"

aera snapped her fingers.

"right! we have a new classmate! he enrolled late which is why he's.. new."

"he?"

"yeah, a dude."

"jake wanted him to be with us so he's kind of.. a new friend." yeona spoke.

"whats his name?" y/n asked.

"eric! i think his name is pretty."

"eric?" y/n raised an eyebrow.

"yeah. why?"

"nothing. the name is just familiar. what does he look like?"

"nothing special. hes tall, maybe around 6'0 or 6'1. he has long fluffy hair, and he has round black glasses."

y/n nodded.

'could it possibly be the guy my mom showed me a few days ago?' she thought to herself

"anyways! time to go, guys. jungwon, why dont you stay here with y/n, hm?" jake smiled.

"eh? i can go with you guys-"

"yeah, you're staying here. bye!" jake said as everybody proceeded to leave the room.

y/n looked at jungwon who was fidgeting with his fingers and biting his lip nervously.

"you seem awkward when they're around."

"what?"

"i dont know. you're pretty quiet when they're here."

"i'm just more comfortable when it's just us two."

"so um.. hows yuri doing?"

"she's good."

y/n nodded.

y/n was looking at the nervous boy who tried to avoid any eye contact.

her eyes trailed down to his hands.

he's still wearing the ring.

"jungwon."

"y-yeah?"

"why is the ring on your ring finger?" she curiously asked.

"well, if the ring means alot to me and i like it alot, then i'd put it on my ring finger."

"and if it's on your other fingers?"

"then it'd be a meaningless ring. just to make my hands pretty, you know?"
