[Y/N's POV]

ever since that day, jungwon has been really close to me. sometimes when the two of us are alone, he wouldn't waste any second and would immediately give me alot of affection.

very clingy.

"jungwon!"

"hmm?"

"i just remembered something."

"what is it?"

"the ring i bought for you didn't fit you, right? how come you're wearing it now?"

"it didn't fit my middle finger." jungwon laughed.

"but that was before i realized that i do like you. now that i realized how dense i was, i decided to put the ring on my ring finger because the person who gave it meant so much to me, and guess what?"

"what?"

"it fits."

another day in school had just ended and i was walking home alone today.

jungwon said he had to stay because the teacher had to talk to him about school.

i was walking towards the exit and saw yuri. she looked like she was waiting for someone.

she looked around and saw me. her eyes immediately lit up.

oh, she was waiting for me?

she ran up to me with a smile on her face.

"y/n! y/n! y/n!" she excitedly cheered.

"what's up? why do you seem so excited?" i ask, smiling.

"since you're the only person who knows about my feelings for jungwon, i have something to spill!"

my smile immediately dropped.

is she serious? has she not noticed how close jungwon and i are? does she still not realize that i like jungwon and jungwon likes me?

"i invited him to go to the arcade with me this weekend, and guess what?"

"what?" i raised my eyebrow.

"he said yes!" she says, clapping.

i give her a small smile.

"that's good."

"anyways, i have to go! i just wanted to let you know."

could've told me through text but okay.

i was walking home with my head facing down.

i saw a pair of shoes infront of me so i immediately looked up.

"keep your head up when walking, you could've bumped into someone, stupid."

"eric!" i smiled. not too wide, though.

"why are you alone? where's jungwon?"

"ah, he had to stay back for some school stuff."

"i see." he replied.

"now that we're here, how about we go for ice cream? i've been craving something and i wouldn't mind treating a friend!"

"are you sure?"
