y/n ran towards yeona's cottage and immediately shut the door as soon as she went in.

"what was that shit i just witnessed?" y/n told herself.

"oh! y/n, is that you?" jake said, smiling.

"ah! jake, um hello nice to meet you. uh i um-"

"what brings you here?"

"ah! i just came over to pay a visit to my friend.. yeona."

"ah good to know. im going over to jay and sunghoon's cottage."

"take care, jake!"

"oh by the way! can i get your number? just incase i need to contact you, you know?"

"sure sure. its xxx-xxx-xxxx."

"thanks again, y/n." was the last thing jake said before he left.

y/n smiled to herself and stood there like an idiot.

"hello?? earth to y/n!" aera snapped her fingers infront of the dumbfounded girl.

"eh?? ah, hello." y/n smiled.

"you've been standing there like an idiot. care to explain what the hell happened?" aera asked.

"jake, ehehe~"

"yeah, no wonder." yeona chuckled.

"soo??"

"he.. he asked for my number! can you believe that?"

"what?? no actual way! all in less than 24 hours, this is insane!" yeona gasped in a very dramatic way.

"yeona shutup! im genuinely surprised. like jake just acknowledged her presence, not even 24 hours ago and now he has her number. i am invested in this love story."

"oh my god, its not a love story! he just asked for my number thats all. i dont wanna jump into conclusions." y/n said, waving her arms in denial.

y/n grabbed her phone to check the text notification she received.

well,, i told jay and sunghoon abt u and they said that the 6 (ur friends included) of us should eat at jay and sunghoon's cottage tonight while we have nothing to do :)

i immediately looked at my two friends with wide eyes, both having the same expression as me.

"BESTIE! GO FOR IT OH MY GOD"

"YES OH MY GOSH! AERA, WE ARE GONNA BE EATING DINNER WITH SUNGHOON AND JAY OH MY GOSH, AM I DREAMING?"

i closed my phone and immediately looked at my friends.. and we all proceeded to squeal.

"y/n!! oh my god you are our wing woman."

"y/n are you a cupid?"

"what should i wear?"

"is this a triple date?"

and other words escaped aera and yeona's mouths.

"guys, can u wake me up around 6:30pm? i wanna take a small nap."

"yeah for sure!"

and with that, y/n put her earphones on and listened to her sleep playlist and closed her eyes.
