Epilogue

“Excited na ako bheshy.” Sabi nito habang nagmamake-up.

“Hmm..”

“Hindi ka ba excited? Bakit tinititigan mo lang yang dress mo?”

“Hindi naman sa ganun. Hindi lang kasi ako makapaniwala na finally masusuot ko rin ito.”

“Oo nga beshy. After all you have been through. You have faced many near-death experiences. You deserve such blessing from God.”

“Thank you for always being on my side, beshy.” I hugged her tight.

“Welcome. Suotin mo na yan hinihintay na tayo sa labas, hinihintay ka na ni lhubs mo. Tapos mamake-upan na kita. Ako pa nahihiya sa itsura mo. Naku!”

Matapos kong nagpalit ay inayusan na ako ni Thea sa buhok at minake-upan.

Napadako ang tingin ko sa litrato ni Papa. Litrato niyang  nakauniporme at nakangiti. His reputation is restored and the real caused of his death is revealed and his Manila Police Force organized a ceremony showing honor and respect to him for his bravery, sacrifice and love for his country.

During the incident with Veronica's parents I was half-awake but I cannot move my body. I feel too weak. When Mrs. Valentine leaned closer to me she told me...

Hindi ito alam nina Jave at ng kanyang asawa dahil payakap niya itong sinasaksak kunyare sa akin at pagkatapos ay tinumba ang inuupuan ko para ipakita sa kanyang asawa na galit talaga siya at isiguradong pinatay nga niya ako.

Lumabas na kami sa kuwarto at bumaba sa sala. Agad akong sinalubong ni Jave and he kissed mo on my cheek and whispered to my left ear... “You look stunning.” Sayang! Dapat sa lips yun eh! May mga epal pa!

I heard someone cleared his throat.

“Puwede bang huwag lantaran naman. Someone's hurting here you know.” Then he laughed. He's Javeʼs friends.

“Pinapasaringan mo ba ako?” Sophie then glared at her. She looks more gorgeous on her white tube dress paired with black stiletto. I am wearing a black-fitted backless dress which is knee-level and has slit on the right side paired with 3 inch-heeled sandal and my hair is curled. Thea is wearing a purple above the knee dress and strapless in style, it also has a slit on the side. Mom, Javeʼs mom and Theaʼs mom were also in their dresses. The gentlemen including kuya Mike and Theaʼs dad are wearing tuxedoes and coats paired with their formal shoes. Their hairs were also well-styled.

“Relax. Are you the only one with feelings here? Para ikaw lang masaktan? And why did you speak in Filipino? Aren't you English-speaking?” Sumbat naman ni Clyffer kay Sophie.

“Why did you speak in Filipino? Aren't you English-speaking?” - Sophie

“Don't answer me question when I'm asking you. I get it now Do you not know the English term for 'pinapasaringan'?”

“Do you?” Sophie answered back.

“Uhm....” Saka tumingin si Clyffer sakin na para bang sumasaklolo na sabihin sa kanya ang English term ng 'pinapasaringan'.
