Author's note:
I'm a part of the lgbtq+ community and I don't like using slurs, so you will probably never see them in my books. I'm also a firm believer of never getting to use the slurs if you're not a part of the community, but that's a whole other conversation. ://
Trigger warning:
Homophobia (nothing too terrible but just in case <3) (I will put a summary at the bottom so you don't miss out, and there will be "- trigger warning over -" when it's safe to read again,, , hope this helps)
Mark knew that Pledis were going to be furious with him as soon as he started talking. However, sitting there in front of his management team, the senior members of Pledis and Han Seong-su himself, he couldn't find it in himself to regret it. Sure, he was good as rejected, but at least Yuta and their fans knew the truth now.
They were gathered in the most private meeting room in the whole building. On the highest floor and far away form any cubicles containing workers. Good thing too, or innocent people would be hearing the shouting. Mark wasn't sure if they were shouting at him, or if they were shouting at each other, but they were definitely saying that Mark had embarrassed the company, and how they were going to cover it up.
As predicted, all of the media and news companies were having the time of their lives. What felt like hundreds of articles were being written about Mark being humiliated on live TV. All theorising whether Mark's feelings were genuine, whether it was rehearsed, why Yuta left, Yuta's sexuality and Mark's sexuality too. The heartbroken man wanted to release a statement to deny that it was fake, but if Mark did that, then he might actually get smacked round the face by his manager (who currently looked like he was about to snap at any second).
Mark's 'rejected' face was all over twitter too.
Once Mark was sure the rest of the people in the room were thoroughly distracted by what they were going to do with him, he took a sneak peek at his phone. He didn't know what he was expecting, but his feed was completely full of,, , him and Yuta.
