Yuta carried Mark to bed, the Canadian started to stir as the covers were pulled over his head. Mark smiled to himself as Yuta stroked his hair before leaving the room, door shutting gently behind him.

That first date was the start of many, the next few months were filled with more secret dates, fully getting to know each other before committing to a long term relationship. Even managing to work around Mark's comeback - unintentionally made even more successful by his stunt at the MAMAs. Mark wasn't even mad with the arrangement, contented that he and Yuta were boyfriends and were together every possible moment. Sure, he wanted to announce it to everyone, but Yuta was adamant that they kept it a secret until his next album was released.

His next album was completely written about Mark, and Mark was even featured in one of the songs. SM had wanted to advertise Mark as a contributing artist (because they are greedy), but both Mark and Yuta refused, wanting it to be a surprise. Since Mark wasn't featured in the title track, he wasn't in the video. However, a snippet of Mark's vocals played at the very end  - sending fans into a frenzy of speculation. They were very excited but also very confused. As far as the general media was concerned, nothing had changed between Mark and Yuta; Yumark have never had a real conversation and Yuta would occasionally like one of Mark's posts even though he was tagged in every single one.

Naturally, every person that hadn't signed to non disclosure was floored when the track list was posted a week later - all of the songs were co written by Mark and he featured in one of them too. The two men were sitting on the sofa at Mark's apartment when they started to get flooded with thousands of comments asking what had changed?

That and how they managed to convince SM and Pledis to allow the collaboration. Well, Mark was essentially allowed to do what he wanted, as long as Mark stayed under their label and it wasn't damaging to Pledis' reputation, and SM wanted to work with Mark anyway- knowing that his name would bring a lot of sales. At first, SM had tried to urge Mark to work with Haechan instead of Yuta. Neither Haechan (the now confirmed Yumark stan) or Yuta were pleased, but Mark was the one who was simultaneously the most annoyed and the only one who did something about it. They had spent weeks in this back and forth, which was a huge contribution as to why the album took so long to produce. Mark's solution was to leave the meeting in a hissy fit and not come back inside until SM relented. He knew it was childish, but whatever works, works.

On the official track list, there were 5 songs: Puzzle Piece, Fly Away With Me, Cry For Love, Amusement Park and Best of Me. Mark helped write all 5, and knew them inside out - so when the album was released a week after the original teaser, he was surprised, to say the least to find a bonus track titled "Marry Me".

"Oppa, why is there a bonus track here?" Mark tilted his head to the side.

"Do you not like it?"

"No, I love it, it's beautiful,, , but how did you manage to sneak it past me?"

"I have my ways-"

"Oh,, , well,, , where's the ring?"

"Sorry, what?"

"You went to all the trouble of keeping this a secret from me, the title is "Marry Me"- so at the very least it feels like you're hinting at something,, , or maybe you're proposing right now?" Mark starts rambling. "I mean it's totally okay if it isn't a proposal, the song is still just as good and it's a nice surprise and wow you're so talented,, , actually maybe can we get married??"

Yuta smiled gently, but didn't answer Mark's question.

"Angel, just wait a bit longer"

Mark was an impatient person; he didn't feel like waiting, but he felt that no matter what he tried, Yuta wasn't going to tell him about his plans.
