Ritsuka Fujimaru threw the crumbled piece of paper down the ground.
"Seek paleblood to transcend the hunt"
Those are the words he rememebred at the start of this nightmare. Now, seeing it once again brought forth a sense of nostalgic fear in Ritsuka's mind
The fabric of his Foreigner outfit slid on his shoulder as the young man quietly walked down the stair
He would have spent a moment to recollect himself, but he know it is no time to reminiscent.
"I should see if I still have my old abilities"
Ritsuka held out a hand. Mana gathered on the inside of his palm as the boy concentrated on manipulating the surrounding mana to his will. In his mind, the familiar items appeared in their finest detail
"Come on. One more time" Archer EMIYA urged gently toward the struggling boy , his hand directing his Master's forward
"You can do it. Project the image carefully in your head, then materialize the shape into reality. Once you are ready, never forget the aria"
He spoke, patiently, as if he himself has gone though this steps hundreds, thousands of times before.
Perhaps he had. Archer is, after all, a living sword. Then he, too, need to think like a sword
The imagery in his mind, so clear, so vivid, flowed through the Master's conscious like a river of information. He felt it overload, ready to burst at the seams, and channel his Mana toward it
To recreate the impossible
"Trace---"
Ritsuka's eyes snapped open
"--On"
Particles of blood formed in the air, compressing tightly into the solid shape of a serrated saw on one hand. On his other hand, a pistol with ornate design materialized from a mass of swirling crimson energy, their shape and texture near indistinguishable from the original
The Hunter Pistol snapped shut, at the same moment the Saw Cleaver reverted to it's saw form, both firmly held within his palm
Ritsuka inspected the magical construct, nodding in satisfaction when he found no flaw in them
The lessons with Archer had proven useful in their least expected moment
He walked further downstair with the new weapons clutched in hand. The sound of flesh being torn apart, ever so familiar, reverbated across the room as Ritsuka descended down the last step. The surrounding light reflected off a dark shape at the other end of the room, casting light on a large wolf gnawing on it's newest victim
it was of a beastly portion, easily towering over three men with a hulking figure completely different from that of a normal man. The scent of blood rolled of the creature in an almost visible miasma
Ritsuka couldn't help but feel amused
When he first met this beast, all that had taken over the Master is the unbridled feeling of fear. He remembered the feeling of being mauled to death, only to wake up in the Hunter's dream moments later
That was the first time he had ever felt traumatized. One among the many others that would come after. The funny thing is that he eventually got used to it, to the madness that plague this town
Compare to a fucking Eldritch god, this little animal here is like a puppy
The next moment, he moved.
