Your POV:

As I'm sitting on the couch with my mom, she starts to suspect if I was honest about where I went.
"Y/N,"
"Yes?" I replied
"Where did you actually go today?" She questioned.
I hitch my breath in fear. Did she know? Did she find out? How?
"I told you, I went out with my friends from dance!" I said with a nervous smile.
"Y/N,"
"Yes?" I replied, more nervous.
"I was talking to the moms today about comp, all their girls were at home." She said with a serious look on her face.
Uh oh.
"Oh uh, really?" I said shaking.
"Mhm." She nodded angrily.
"So where did you go?" She finally asks again.
I took a deep exhale, making it clear that I was shaking.
"I-I was..." I stuttered
"You...?" She teased.
"I was at D-"
She exhaled. "I know you were at his house."
My eyes widened. How did she figure that out so quick?
"How did you-"
"I wasn't born yesterday, y/n. Who else would you be out with?" She looked at me with a hint of disappointment.
She was right. She knew I didn't have that many friends at school. Daniel was the only person there for me.
I exhaled again. Not as shaky. "You're not mad right?"
"You lied to me about where you were going more than once, went to a BOY'S house, and you expect me not to be mad? I'm your mother, of course I'm mad."
My threw my head in my hands. "I'm sorry, but please don't-"
"You're grounded for a month." She interrupts.
"But mom what about-" I try to protest
"The only place you're allowed to go is dance and school. No going out with friends, no DANIEL either." She simply says.
"You can't make me stop seeing him." I stand my ground.
"Excuse me?" She asks. "I'm your mother I can stop you from seeing whoever I want."
"Not from Daniel." I shake my head.
"I'm not arguing with you, y/n." She turns her head back to the TV.
"I'll see whoever I want." I say under my breath.
I stomp upstairs to my room and locked the door. I threw myself on the bed and cried. How could she? I loved him. I loved Daniel with my whole heart. He was my everything. I couldn't stop seeing him.
I decided to text Daniel and tell him what's happening.

You:
My mom found out I was at your house...

Daniel ❤️:
Everything is okay, right?

You:
She says I can't see you anymore, but that's not gonna stop me. We always have school and I can always sneak out. It's not like she's home anyways.

Daniel ❤️:
Do you have dance tomorrow?

You:
Yeah but by the time I get home, she'll still be at work.

Daniel ❤️:
Well then that's perfect :).

I smiled at my phone. Nobody could get in between me and him. It's us forever.

You:
Yeah, it is :).

Daniel ❤️:
I love you, slugger.

You:
I love you too ❤️.
