Valentina's POV:

When I woke up I realised I slept for three hours. I sat straight on the bed with my back leaning on the headboard. I sigh hard.

What do I do? How should I make it up to my brothers? Especially Ales.

I was lost in my own thoughts when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in", I said.

The door opened and Micheal came in smiling at me. I grin wide.

"Hey. How're you feeling?", Micheal rushed to me smiling.

We kissed softly and then he sat down next to me.

"I'm good. Feeling a little better after having a nap I guess", I smile

"Good. Sleeping always helps calm our mind and reduce stress", Micheal smiled

I nod agreeing.

"When did you come?", I ask curiously

"An hour ago. You were sleeping so I didn't want to disturb you. I sat down with the twins and Matteo in the living room", He smiled

"Oh", I nod

"They told me what happened", He said smiling sadly

"Then you must know how terrible I feel", I sigh

Micheal looked up at me frowning. Like he didn't expect me to say this.

"What? Why do you feel terrible?", He asked

"I brought pain to my brothers. Even though it wasn't intentionally, I still did. I didn't even know they were going through something", I said in guilt and looking down

"Are you serious right now?", He asked in disbelief

I look at him confused.

"Val what happened is not your fault. I mean yes you made a mistake and even I didn't like the fact that you didn't call your brothers or me before you went in. I mean I definitely would have been pissed if I didn't know you went in like that. I was lucky I was talking to Liam when you called Iris", He said with a pointed look.

I look at him nodding. When I didn't say anything he continued.

"But I don't blame you for anything and mind you even Ales doesn't. He is merely concerned Val which is quite normal for a sibling. I have two elder siblings, I exactly know what's going on with both of you", Micheal chuckled softly

I look at him silently saying to explain.

"I've had my ass kicked by Raf and Sav when I initially joined the mafia training. It wasn't because they thought I was stupid or irresponsible, though I kept thinking it was as Raf would scold me saying that only. But later I soon realised that it's just the concern. I'm always concerned when Raf goes on a mission. It's absolutely normal", Micheal explained chuckling remembering the times he got his ass kicked.

I smiled softly.

"It's not a big deal to have fights like this Val. It wasn't even a bad fight. It was a good fight. Ales was pissed because he cares for your safety and he loves you. You argued because you wanted him to talk to you for crying out loud. That's it", Micheal shrugged.

"I know what's going on in your mind. You feel guilty, bad, scared, angry at yourself blah blah. But..why is my question. You can't control what they feel and they can't control what you feel so sometimes things like this happens and it becomes difficult to deal with, but remember anything in life is only as difficult as we make it. This fight or whatever you call it has given you all a reality check on a mafia life and that is gonna happen many more times in future", Michael said seriously
