you stood in front of the avenger, fear coursing through your veins and spreading like a flame against oxygen. westview was destroyed, and it was your job to keep wanda maximoff safe, safe from hayward and his stupid task force. "i'm not here to hurt you." you reassured. "i just want to get the people of this town out safely." she looked at you questioningly, her head tilting slightly as she landed on the ground. "are you with them?" she asked, pointing behind you at the s.w.o.r.d. vehicles. "fuck no." you laughed to yourself, blinking a few times as you remembered what situation you were in. "he's not coming here unless you give any sign of leaving."
she nodded, looking around the town with her hands crossed against her stomach. a hint of a smirk slowly tugged at the ends of her lips. "what's the plan, then?"
