"y-y/n?" peter asked, tears flooding his eyes. you nodded, smiling softly. "peter. you need to let go." you said, hovering your hand on top of his shoulder, letting it rest mid-air. "i c-can't... not without you y/n." your smile dropped as you retracted your hand, wiping a tear from his eyes. "try, for me, okay?" he didn't get to answer, your spirit disappeared, but he was happy to see your smile one more time.
