You Can't Just Throw Me Away

Celeste's POV

Kuza disappeared, and Ashcky appeared a minute later. He really is leaving me...

God I'm such an idiot, why do I still love him? He tore me apart. I gave up everything for him, and got nothing in return.

My thoughts were interrupted by Ashcky, who sat down and pulled me into his arms. "You okay honey?" he asked.

"I want Kuza." I grumbled, pushing him away. He sighed and laid back against the headboard with me.

"You know he doesn't want you anymore doll." he told me, fiddling with the bottom of his shirt.

I frowned and turned my head away from him, asking why he came. "Cuz he came and got me. Said you were upset." he replied.

"See, he cares!" I exclaimed, smacking his leg. "He wanted you off his hands, Celeste!" Ashcky argued.

"He fucking raped you! How much more clear does he have to make it?!" "I told you it was my own fault!" I shouted back, "I made him mad, I deserved it!"

Ashcky groaned and ran his fingers through his hair. "Whatever. I can't help you if you don't wanna be helped." he snapped, and then disappeared.

I lasted about ten seconds before I burst into tears once again. What am I gonna do? Kuza's left me, Ashcky is mad at me, and I'm not that close with Jalex or Chricky...

I can't even go to Lucifer right now cuz he's busy with new Demons, training them and whatnot.

What about Charvelle?! I'm sure she'd listen....Who am I kidding, I left her to be with a Demon. She probably hates me.

This is all my fault. I should've never gone to Kuza because then I fell in love with him and now that I'm in love with him I can't let him go.

I picked up his pillow and hugged it tightly, his scent swarming my senses. How did I end up this way?

I'd blink to him and beg him to take me back, but I don't even know if he would at this point.

That's when it hit me. This really is Hell. The most cruel version I could imagine: spending an eternity alone.

One Month Later...

Kuza's POV

I watched as light flickered from just behind the eyes of one more Demon who couldn't give me answers.

I've been searching for Annifer for a month now, and I'm still no closer to finding her than I was when I started.

Every lead I get is a dead end, or a dead Demon. Depends on how you look at it. I'm running out of ideas.

I have one lead to follow now, but it's doubtful at best. Then, I'll be forced to team up with a couple Mortals who have a knack for tracking people down.

My main problem with that is that they're Hunters, who primarily hunt my kind, since I guess one of us killed their mom and eventually their dad.

But if I really want to find Annifer, those two are my best bet. So long as I don't give them reason to kill me I think I'll be okay.

Now to track them down.
