*Kuza's POV*
I left Synacky's office, heading down to the end of the hallway to the mirror portal.
I stopped in front of it for a moment, admiring my reflection. I'm 6 foot, pale skin. I was wearing black jeans, with no shirt.
It made my chest and pelvic bone tattoos visible. I have a Deathbat on my pelvic bone, with a rather intricate tattoo on my chest.
It's basically an anatomically correct heart, with brass knuckles on both sides, and dragon wings.
I don't remember enough of my human life to know what possessed me to get it, but I don't really mind it either.
I trailed a finger down the frame before placing my hand on the glass and focusing on Abigail.
The mirror portal will take me to Abigail's general location once I step through it, and it's up to me to use my hunting instincts to reach her.
The reflection started to blur and shimmer, and when it settled, I could see what appeared to be an outdoor mall.
Fantastic.
I stepped through the mirror and into the human world. Thankfully, the portal provided me with a black, button-up shirt.
I doubt things would go easily for me if I were shirtless.
I stepped into a small pathway between two tall buildings so that I could focus.
I leaned against the hot wall and closed my eyes, focusing my mind completely on Abigail.
After a moment, I could see a path in my head that would lead me directly to her.
I grinned wickedly and made my way to her, ignoring the disgusted looks I received for my appearance.
After about two minutes of walking, I spotted her. She was about 5'5, and looked just like her picture.
As I neared her, a girl with white hair ran up to her, looking anxious. I recognized her face as an Angel's and gritted my teeth.
I was so hoping to do this without a fight, but if I get to kill an Angel, I guess that's not so bad.
*Celeste's POV*
I bid Destiel farewell, walking out of his office before blinking to Earth.
Angels can travel between different realms by "blinking," a form of teleportation.
I landed in an outdoor mall, and felt a slight gravitational pull that I knew, when followed, would lead me to Abigail.
I tucked my white shirt into my white skinny jeans (yes, yes, clichè. I know.) then followed the feeling to Abigail.
Just as she appeared in my sight, I saw a Demon getting close to her. I took off running to her, sliding to a stop at her side.
"Hello Abigail." I smiled, trying not to seem out of breath. She frowned. "Do I know you?"
I shook my head, eyeing the Demon, who was closing the gap between us. "No, but if you'll come with me I can explain how I know you." I told her.
She chuckled harshly. "Yeah I don't fuckin' think so, weirdo." Abigail spat at me.
Plan B.
I grabbed her arm and dragged her into a store, ignoring her protests. I pushed her to the back, where we were hidden from sight by a rack of clothes.
"You wanna know how I know you?" I asked harshly, "I'm an Angel. I've been sent to protect your from a Demon looking to take your soul."
To my surprise, she didn't appear to be phased by the revelation whatsoever.
"Eh, Luci can go fuck himself." she laughed, "Like I would actually hold up my end of the deal."
Before I could ask clarification, a hand reached through the rack and grabbed Abigail, pulling her away from me.
I chased after her to see the Demon dragging her away. Not on my watch!
I raced after them and waved my hand toward the Demon, sending him stumbling back from Abigail.
"You'll not take her." I sneered at him, then blinked Abigail and I back to Destiel.
Abigail crumpled to the floor; the usual reaction for a Mortal the first time they blink.
Destiel looked up from what appeared to be a second pie, setting it on his desk and racing to Abigail.
He and I helped her up, and he carried her to his seat. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking her over.
"Uh......" Abigail was still groggy, so Destiel looked to me for an answer. "The Demon got a hand on her, but I got her back and brought her up her."
"Son of a bitch." Destiel muttered, and I fought back a chuckle. That was his trademark saying, even though Angels are forbidden to use such language.
Destiel summoned Cashley, the Angel who checked on Mortals that came to Heaven, to make sure Abigail was okay.
Cashley is a somewhat unusual looking Angel. He has black hair to the middle of his chest, and usually wears white face makeup with different black designs.
More often than not, he's ripped his outfit in various places, and spattered it with paint.
If you didn't know any better, you would think a Demon was always giving him fashion advice.
Cashley gave Abigail a look over, and informed Destiel and I that she was merely in shock.
I suppose that was understandable. Meeting a Demon and Angel face to face and being blinked to Heaven in less than five minutes could do that to ya.
Once the shock wore off, Destiel told me to blink Abigail home, and that I was to continue watching over her.
