2. the new detective

Here was Jocelyn. A month later, Alex actually helped her get an apartment. Its a decent apartment, 3 rooms, a beautiful view of the city, the kitchen is really nice too. Maybe their mom is right, New York suits her. Look at her, Jocelyn in the big city. Something new, something to experience. She didn't mind at all. Their mother was happy for her, Yessica cried as she said her goodbyes and well as for Issac, it was just another day for him.

Jocelyn still had boxes in her new apartment, Mulder, her French bulldog, following behind. She sat on the floor organizing clothes and shoes. Mulder kept getting in the way, giving her slobbering kisses. She knew it was time to take a break.

"Come here Mulder!" She carried him, cradled him like a baby. He's been her best friend since the divorce, always by her side and such a goofball. "This is our home now. No more moving around. This is ours. All to ourselves. You like that yeah?" She scratched his head. "Good boy." She picked myself up, going upstairs to put away her suits for work, color coordinated. Her room was sorta unpacked, but need to work on it day by day.

Its was already 11 at night, still fixing things in the kitchen and her room. Mulder already is sleeping on his side of the bed. She made her way to the bed, setting her alarm for tomorrow.

Jocelyn woke up earlier than expected. Took Mulder for his walk, made a list for the dog taker and left him some food for the mean time.

"Ill be back before you know it." She tapped his nose. He gave her his famous kisses. She giggled and fell on the floor as he attacked her with more kisses. "Alright Mulder, I got to go, I love you." She got up to get her box for her new desk, head to the door, give him one last look and left.

The car ride was longer than expected and luckily she made it on time. There was a bunch of men and women coming in and out of the precinct. Here goes nothing. Jocelyn asked where Special Victims was, on the sixth floor, and headed to the elevator. She had her box of belongings, struggling to press the button. She look like a complete newbie as she walked into the precinct. Here it is, Special Victims Unit. The crowded room, phones buzzing, smell of coffee, it brought her back.

"Hi! Im looking for Sargent..." Jocelyn looked around for the paper in her bag, trying to juggle her stuff. "Olivia Benson." She smiled at the blonde woman standing in front of her.

"Shes right in there." She points at the office. Of course. Jocelyn gave her a warm smile and knocked on the door before going in.
