Silent Treatment pt. 3 final

Taehyung found himself back in the nearest club with Jimin beside him. He doesn't want to leave you but his overthinking reaches his limit. He needs some time to think. That's how he left the house expecting you to chase after him. He waited for some minutes and finally give up, knowing you wouldn't do such a thing. He called Jimin on his way and his best friend was quick to join him.

"Tae, stop. Don't call Jaeyo if you don't want your relationship comes to end." Jimin said which makes the drunk Taehyung look up to meet his eyes.

"W-What do you mean?"

"Watch this." Jimin looking for something inside his phone and show it to Tae after pressing a play button. "I was recording you because your drunk-ass was cute and I was planning to send it to Noona but then Jaeyo keeps asking you those stupid questions which makes you said those things. Unfortunately, Noona was there to witness everything." Jimin pressed his lips into thin line while watching the younger watch his messy drunk self.

"Shit! I-I really said this in front of her??? Fck, why wouldn't any of you stop me?" He groans in frustration, watching his drunk-self messing up.

'After all, your girl best friend is better than your girlfriend, right?'

'Hehee, you know me the best Jaeyo.'

Taehyung push the phone back to Jimin and messing with his own hair frustratedly. "No wonder she acts different since this morning. She didn't nag me, she doesn't even complain about anything, fck she doesn't even talk to me properly. God what should I do to fix this."

"Talk to her, Tae. Apologize. Tell her that you didn't mean them, that you were drunk and don't know what you were talking about-"

"I can't, Jimin. I know what she will said, she would believe that my drunk-self said the most honest thing. She would think that, it was what I've been feeling all this time. She wouldn't trust my words now."

"Tae-"

"Drive me home now, Jimin. I miss her."

Taehyung walked in the bedroom only to find your fragile sleeping figure cuddling up to your bolster. His heart was aching at the view of your back and without wasting time, he got into the bed and embrace you softly. "I love you so much, I love you." Little did he knows, you were awake the whole damn time.

Days passed and weeks passed. No one mention about that event, not you, not even Taehyung. He didn't want to argue with his words that night because he knows it would be useless. Instead, he shows you with his every action.

Through these days, Taehyung was being extra clingy. He is already very affectionate towards you before, now it double even more. He was showering you his endless love and he never hesitate to remind you that he loves you.

He wasn't sure if you notice but he's also slowly trying to fix his bad habit. He has stopped stepping on his shoes. He tried to lessened ordering take outs. He puts more thoughts whenever he wants to purchase something and never forget to ask your opinion, especially when it comes to things that both of you would share.

Everything was going fine and you slowly forgot about that night event, those words that triggered your insecurities. You almost forgot them when he suddenly brings up her name once again.

"Baby, Jaeyo and the guys wanted to have a little meet up and dinner tonight." He said while approaching your figure in kitchen.

"Oh? That's fine, just go. I'll cook for myself the-"

"Who said I'm going alone?" Taehyung cut you off as he turns you around to face him.

"What do you mean, Tae? I can't go with you. They don't like m-"

"You're coming with me because you are my girlfriend, the best part of my life. If they're my friend, then they gotta count you as their friend too."

"But-"

"No buts, baby."

Your grip on his arm grew tighter as both of you walking inside the restaurant, while the man beside you never stop caressing your bare skin softly and flashing you his boxy smile.

"Tae! You finally her-e..." you swear you saw her smile faded away instantly once her gaze landed on you. "Tae, why did you bring her?" Wow. The audacity she has, Taehyung thought but squeezing your hand even more.

"If any of you have a problem with me bringing my girlfriend here, then I'm sorry to say I couldn't stay either and Jaeyo know your place, you are just my best friend and she is my ONE and ONLY girlfriend." He snaps at her and turn around, dragging you out with him.

"T-Tae, you don't have to do this. Just go back and I will-"

"Baby, look at me." He stopped and cupped your cheeks once both of you were outside of the restaurant. "You are everything to me, you're on the top of my priority, alright? I didn't mean everything I said that night, I never brought it up again because instead of arguing about that, I want to show you and prove them to you. I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings. Just remember that you are the best and I love you."

"I love you too, Tae. I'm sorry for giving the cold shoulder and silent treatment all this time. I'll try harder to show my affection to you."

"You don't have to try harder, you are enough for me baby."
