Reading his cold replies, you know he must be disappointed. Eyeing your pile of works and shift back to your wallpaper which is the photo of you and him, you decided to call it a day.
"It's time for a little surprise." you muttered and smile to yourself while walking out from your office.
Somewhere,
"Truth or dare?" His so-called girl best friend, Jaeyo asked for the umpteenth times.
"Come on, why you keep targeting Tae?" Jungkook asked noticing how Jaeyo trying hard to ask Taehyung to play the game.
"Come on, it's just for fun. Tae has been distant lately, he doesn't even go to party like this anymore with us since he starts dating. Now, truth or dare?" She defends herself and got some support from some other friends while Jungkook just shaking his head, noticing how Taehyung started to get drunk.
He chooses dare few times earlier but couldn't manage to do the dare, therefore he has taken few shots of tequila.
"Truth. I'm not in the mood for any dare." He slurred, pouting his cute little lips.
"Okay, tell us something that you don't manage tell your girlfriend in front of her face? Like, is there something you don't like about her?" She asked excitedly and some other were cheers at the 'nice' question from Jaeyo already.
They were enjoying this so much because Taehyung has been spending his time a lot with you. He was so crazy about you that he always does whatever you say and choose you above everything else. Somehow it makes some friends from his circle didn't like your presence. They thought you're controlling him too much, which in fact it was Taehyung who didn't bother to leave your side.
But what do we do with a drunk Taehyung?
"Ah, of course there is. My baby is still so cold to me. I'm sad." He pouts and giggles cutely. That was the exact moment you arrived and about to approaching him when you heard him talk about you. He was being all cute and pouty which makes you wanted to see more. Halt in the safe distance, you make sure he wouldn't be able to see you but little did you know, someone else notices your sudden arrival.
"Oh really? Did she ever forbid you to hang out with us?"
"Nooo, she didn't hehe but she didn't allow me to drink much." He giggles cutely again and Jimin zoom in his camera to Taehyung closely while giggling. He definitely will make Taehyung watch this once he sobers.
"Noona knows it well because you'll get drunk like this. Oh my God, I will send this cuteness to her!"
"That suck. It's okay to drink once in a while and having fun with us though. Don't you think she's controlling too much?" She asked again and you were about to step in, ready to embrace your pouty bear when his answer break your cold little heart.
"YES SHE IS!" He yelled quite loudly, "Do you know, she even asked me to stop stepping on my shoes like I usually do! You all know how much I hate wearing shoes, so I wear it like that to makes me more comfortable but she said, it will ruin the shoes." He whines and pout a lot but it doesn't lessen the sting pain in your heart.
So this was how he felt?
"Aww, Taetae but you have lots of money. You can always buy a new one, why cares so much about some ruined shoes?" Jaeyo smirking while clinging into his arms, lowkey side-eyeing you.
"Right!! Right?? I told her so, but she keeps refusing saying I should try to appreciate my earn money and use it wisely. She thinks I'm spoiling myself too much, maybe? I don't know." the drunk man don't even notice but keep blabbering, spilling some tea he would regret later on.
"Poor taetae, that's the differences between girlfriend and girl best friend Tae. I will support whatever you want to do with your life, your shoes or your money. As long as it makes you happy." as sweet as it sounds, you know what she was trying to do. You don't care about her but you were clearly disappointed at him.
"Noona have the right point. You always wear shoes like that and it's dangerous for your own too, you might trip on it or something-"
"After all, your girl best friend is better than your girlfriend, right?"
"Hehee, you know me the best Jaeyo." That's it. You've had enough.
Before you managed to took more steps, a familiar voice stopped you. "Noona? Hey, you know he's drunk right. Come, join us."
