New Characters: Meet Rajveer's Family

Mahendraveer Shekhawat- His Biological Father- was part of the Jaisalmer Royal Family. He was a very weak man who was controlled by his father. He was a good musician but he was a man who could never stand up for himself or others. He fell for a Muslim Princess of Nawabi Family of Awadh named Zeenat Khan but due to his father's threat of disowning him ended up abandoning her and his child. Lala Gehlot was his illegitimate brother who he saw as his brother but he also feared that his father would make Lala his heir. He died in a fire accident along with his wife and best friend – King Somnath Verma of Amaravati and his wife Queen Anusuya Verma under mysterious circumstances.

Narayani Shastri as Nayantara Shekhawat- His Biological mother- married Mahendra due to family pressure. Did not like him, was best friends with Zeenat Khan and Anusuya Verma. Mother of Rajveer and Jaiveer. Died in a fire accident along with husband when Rajveer was six years old.

Iqbal Khan as Jaiveer Singh Shekhawat/Jai/Zia Musafir- Younger brother of Rajveer and Mohammad Musafir Khan. 4 years younger than Rajveer. A typical younger brother who loves pranks and getting his big bros in trouble. Favorite of his Bhabhi Anya Khan. Loves her like his mom since he doesn't remember his mom. He is also a favourite of entire Khan family as he is the youngest. His one smile can charm his Dadiammi Rukhsar Khan and his Badi ammi Zeenat. He looks up to his brothers. He goes by the stage name Zia Musafir and is a famous Rockstar. His passion is dance and music. His brothers don't approve of this as it reminds them of Mahendra. But his Bhabhi supports him. He will play an important role in this story.

Khans

Mohamad Musafir Khan popularly called Musafir- Eldest brother of Rajveer. Husband of Anya. Illegitimate son of Mahendra and Zeenat. He was ridiculed as a half-blooded mongrel by many of the Royal families. But with the support of Anya and his Dadiammi and Ammi he became a very successful businessman- one of the top 10 in India- Now he has enough money and power to buy out all the royals who ridiculed him. He is popularly called as the wolf dog by his competitors, rivals and enemies because of his ruthlessness. He shares a very close relationship with Rajveer and is very protective of him. He hates betrayals and disloyalty. His soft side is reserved only for his family especially his wife Anya for whom he could conquer the whole world or set it on fire. He has a tom-jerry relationship with Jai and pretends to be jealous of his wife's partiality to his brothers especially Jai. It is usually him and Raj vs Anya and Jai. He is two years older than Rajveer

Nayantara as Anya Khan- Princess of Amravathi, Wife of Mohamad Musafir Khan- Our Second Woman. Has suffered many great personal losses. Loves Raj and Jai like her sons. While Raj and Musafir are very close, she and jai are very close. She can't bear to see Raj or Jai in Danger. She supported Raj's desire to join the army and Jai's desire to become a musician instead of joining the family business. She loves her husband and his family like her own. She would convince her husband to fulfill her dewars wishes in fact they come to her first to save them from their brother's anger. She is a top-notch Lawyer by profession and great classical dancer, a loving and protective Bhabhi. But she can be ruthless to anyone who hurts or betrays her family. She doesn't trust Lala and sees through his disguise of a doting elder of the family. She keeps the three brothers together and is incredibly protective of her three boys. She is a favourite of her mother- in- law Zeenat who loves her above her own kids.

Zeenat Musafir Khan- A royal lady from the Awadhi Royal Family. She fell in love with Mahendra and his music and got pregnant, but he married her friend Nayantara. Her father wanted her to abort her baby but she refused to do so and her friend Anusuya supported her. Later her father accepted her son as his heir. She loves her daughter in law as her daughter. Rajveer is her favourite after Anya. She started the family business and Musafir took it to great heights. She had made up with her dead father with her mother ruksar's support and took in Raj and Jai as her kids after Nayantara's death. She always encouraged her son to protect his brothers and love and respect his wife above power or wealth no matter how much they have.

Rukhsar Khan- Zeenat's mom loves her grandchildren a lot stays with them after her husband passed away with cancer. She is a very smart lady and does not trust Lala like her daughter and grandsons. She had trained Anya to become Musafir's support in managing her husband's estate of Awadhi.

All the Khans except Anya and Jaiveer will be playing only Cameo roles for Raina Love Story. P.S Musafir is going to be heavily inspired by K-Dramas and Anya is going to be inspired by many bad ass female leads I have seen in various English and Korean Dramas. Actress Nayantara may be younger than Rajeev Khandewal but is one hell of an Actress so I have chosen her for Anya.
