Chapter 15: Obsession over Adoration

Carrie was talking with some press people about the ending for Take Me Back to Burbank. "Was there another plan instead of a fight between the family?" A reporter asked and Carrie sat back in her chair. "Well originally, the whole Battle for Burbank was going to be a whole singing competition where the family, plus Daniel and Cassandra would sing to stop Brain mind controlling me." She explained, crossing her legs. "Cassandra would be the one to sing through and save me, and that she and my father would join us as toons themselves. I actually have some animation here." She pulls out a projector and it shows them the other deleted scene in store.

Carrie was getting ready for the whole singing competition when she looked to see something from Brain. "I mean I don't trust what he might be up to, but the chances are so good, I'm taking it." She opens up the present and sees a ruby pendant inside. She puts it around her neck and then Brain came behind the mirror. "Ha! You've fallen right into my new trap. You're going to get us to win by this! MIND CONTROL!" Brain presses the button on his device and Carrie's eyes turned green and smoke the same color filled the stage.

Yakko notices the suspicious smoke in the crowd and brought the family into the huddle. "Something is going on. I think that Brain is trying to overthrow everything and take the competition into his own hands to rule the world." Dot looked over to see the crowd arguing with one another. "You're right.. We need to fight the music with music." "Don't worry. We have your backs." Daniel and Cassandra spoke up as they approached the family. Wakko shakes their hands. "Thank you so much. Now come on Sibs and Kids. We have to save Carrie." Lauren and Cassidy nodded and they began to head up the tower.

The crowd stops their arguing when the music begins to play and Carrie walked out onto the stage with Brain by her side, and the two harmonized. They danced for the crowd as Carrie began to sing the first verse. "Welcome to the show.. We're here to let you know... Our time is now! Your time is running out." The camera pans to the Warners, Daniel, and Cassandra. They look on at the scene below them as Lauren spoke up, holding a guitar. "How are we supposed to play over Brain from up here?" Cassidy held up a device and said. "I got this." She presses the button and the tower turns into some giant speakers. The family cheers and hooked up some instruments, ready to fight.

"Feel the wave of sound, as it crashes down!" Carrie's powers began to grow corrupted and brain uses them to mind control the other toons and executive hands. "You can't turn away! She'll make you want to stay!" Brain smirks as Carrie began to turn into her shadow form. "Carrie will be adored. Tell her that you want her. She won't be ignored!" "It's time for our reward! Now you need us! Come and heed us! Nothing can stop us now!" The two sang together, but then another beat began to play as the Warners sang from the tower. "Oh-oh, oh-whoa-oh! I've got the music in me! Oh-oh, oh-whoa-oh!"

Lauren plays out a sick guitar solo and Daniel began to take center stage as the crowd breaks from the conscious mind control. "Don't need to hear a crowd, Cheering out my name. I didn't come here seeking Infamy or fame!" Then the family, except Cassandra sang together. "The one and only thing That I am here to bring Is music, is the music! Is the music in my soul" Then the family turned into their anime forms. "About to break out! Set ourselves free, yeah! Let it all go! Go! Just let it be, yeah. Find the music in your heart. Let that music make you start to set yourself apart!"

Carrie shakes her head and looks at them. "Go Warners!" She cheered, but then Brain gets her to come back into the dazed mind. "So the Warners want to turn this into a real battle for their precious Carrie? Then let's battle." Then Brain began to sing through her mind. "What we have in store, all we want and more! The Brain will break on through! Now it's time to finish you!" Carrie groans as the pounding became too much and she turns into her anime form, and her eyes were blood red. The family stopped playing and almost cowered in fear. Carrie began to circle around the water tower, snarling. "Enough cowering. Let's finish this!" Wakko plays on the drums and uses the beats to push her back.

Dot and Cassidy do separate attacks to stun the mind controlled Carrie. Yakko takes the mic and sings his heart out. "Oh Woah-oh, woah ohh!" Carrie growls and by Brains command, her voice makes powerful sound waves, pushing him back a bit. Then her and Brain come together, harmonizing again to push them back more. The family falls backwards and Yakko slips and dropped the mic in front of Cassandra as she picked it up. "Cassandra, darling. We need you!" Daniel pleads, and she looked to her stepdaughter, taking off her coat. Cassidy changes the beat and it begins to play something else. Cassandra began to sing through to Carrie.

"You're never gonna bring me down! You're never gonna break this part of me!" Cassandra gets the family up again. "My friends are here to bring me 'round! Not singing just for popularity!" Cassandra and Yakko began to sing together. "We're here to let you know, That we won't let it go! Our music is a bomb and it's about to blow. And you can try to fight, But we have got the light of Friendship on our side!" Wakko plays another drum solo and Carrie turned back to normal, taking off the ruby pendant and smashing it on the ground, joining her family to end it once and for all.

"Got the music in our hearts! We're here to blow this thing apart! And together, we will never Be afraid of the dark!" Cassandra and Daniel hold hands while they turned into toons themselves. "Here to sing our song out loud! Get you dancing with the crowd. As the music of our friendship Survives, survives!" The family floats into the air and they shoot some beams into the sky as the crowd below sang along with them. "Got the music in our hearts! We're here to blow this thing apart!! And together, we will never be afraid of the dark!" Amelia appears through the clouds, spreading her angel wings and preparing a final attack. "Here to sing our song out loud! Get you dancing with the crowd! As the music of our friendship Survives, survives, survives!!" Amelia uses the attack on Pinky and Brain, destroying the device in his hands and the red sky clears.
