"Hey Aura!" I say as she grabs her books out of her locker.
"Hey Ari. You look beautiful today." I mumble a quiet thank you while trying to get rid of the blush that's crept onto my cheeks.
"You have AP Lang right?" I ask.
"Yep. Want me to walk you to class?"
"But AP Lang is way too far from Spanish 2."
"Has that stopped me before?" I giggle and shake my head no. She gestures for me to walk beside her. I do and she starts talking.
"You know I'm always gonna be here for you right?"
"Really?" I ask quietly.
"Of course I am Ari. You're literally stuck with me I'm not going anywhere."
"Good. I need you."
"Well I'm here. Forever." She says and it causes me to blush. She always does that. We walk in a comfortable silence with her smiling at me every so often. We reach my class and she pecks me good bye on the cheek dangerously close to my lips. She pulls away with a smirk.
"You know what you're doing."
"Heck yeah I do." She says whispering in my ear. I blush and walk into my class. Once she can see I made it to my seat she heads to her class.
**Aurora's pov**
The teacher calls my name to answer a question but my phone rings. I reach in my back pocket and April's name and contact picture shows up. She knows I'm in class so it has to be important.
"Sorry can I take this?" She nods her head yes and I make my way out the door.
"Hey Ari! What is it?"
"Aura I-I he-h-help."
"Ari?! Where are you?"
"Girls ba-b-bathroom in t-t-the li-l-library. Please h-hu-hurry."
"Ok stay there. I'm coming. Just try to even out your breathing until I get there."
"O-ok." She hangs up and I walk back in the classroom.
"Aurora is everything alright?" Ms. Gold asks me. I speed walk over and grab my backpack. "Aurora?"
"Ask questions later someone needs me. Love your class! Sorry!" I shout as I run to the library. I run all the way there and even run through the library to the girls bathroom. I shout a sorry to to Mrs.Harris and run to the bathroom. Once I reach it I swing open the door. I hear someone crying in a stall and I knock on it. The door doesn't unlock but the crying continues.
"Ari it's me. Please let me in." The door unlocks and before I open it I hear shuffling around. "Ari I'm coming in okay? It's just me." I slowly open the door but before its opened all the way she throws herself on me. She tightens her hold around my neck and I can feel my shoulder getting drenched in tears. "Hey it's ok Ari. Let it all out. I'm here. It's okay. Just breathe." I feel her do a small nod on my shoulder. "When you feel better wanna talk about it?" She nods her head yes. "Ok but let's not worry about that right now. Just breathe. I kiss her cheek and run my finger through we hair. She calms down a little and lifts her head up. "Shhh it's okay you don't have to talk right now." I peck her lips and she smiles. I smile back and she lays her head back on my shoulder.
A few minutes later her sniffling stops and she lifts her head up again. "You ready?" She nods her head yes. She starts to get up from my lap but I stop her. "No you stay right here. I'm listening." She nods and lays her head back on my shoulder.
"Were you in class?"
"Yeah why?"
"Sorry I made you leave. You're most likely have to talk to the principal now. But I needed you and I know it was a little selfish."
"It's okay Ari. I would do anything for you. I'll take the consequences if it means your happy." I feel her cheeks heat up and she lifts her head to face me.
"I change my mind I don't wanna talk about it. But I have a question."
"It's okay we don't have to just as long as you're okay. What's your question?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" She asks looking away from my face. I softly turn her head to face me again.
"Ari you know the answer. I would love too." I peck her lips and she goes back to laying her head on my shoulder.
"That's why I was crying. I don't deserve you and knowing that hurt. A lot."
"If anything I don't deserve you. You're smart, beautiful, gorgeous, perfect, adorable, funny, amazing, sweet, caring, incredibly talented, and drop dead gorgeous." Her face turns as red as a tomato. I smile and she lays back down on my shoulder.
"Well we are gonna be the talk of the school now."
"As long as everyone knows that's you're mine then that's okay with me." I say while laughing.
"I would love that."
"If you're happy I'm happy."
"Can we just let our parents figure it out for themselves? I wanna see their reactions."
"Of course this should be fun." The bell rings signaling class is over. I stand up and April wraps her legs around my waist.
"Wow Ari but now you wanna be carried."
"I will give you the silent treatment for the rest of the day don't test me."
"You wouldn't dare. Then people wouldn't know that you're mine." I say pouting. She rolls her eyes with a smile. She unwraps her legs from my waist and I gently place her down. I peck her lips and she smiles at me. I smile back before we leave the library and head to my locker.
