**Aurora's pov**
I wake up in a room that is definitely not mine. I check the time on my phone and it read five o' clock pm. I look around and take in every little thing in this room. Sage green walls each wall lined with little book shelves nailed and drilled into the wall, over in the corner where I am there is a nice marble nightstand covered with drawings, sketches, pencils, and pretty much everything you need to make the perfect masterpiece, over in another corner there is a vanity which has a bunch of school related things on top all neatly organized, the floor perfectly clean and practically glistening hardwood with a white area rug in the smack middle, the bed frame a beautiful sage green with marble bedding, I turn my head a little and an en-suite bathroom comes into view which replicates the bedroom perfectly, and even the curtains were white with sage green coloring splattered against it.
I then only realize a warmth coming into my chest and side so I turn my head and come face to face with April. Okay now I remember. We were so tired we just both fell asleep after she sorted things out with her parents. I never got a really good look at her room until now and I have to say it suits her well. Gives off some type of cottage core type vibes with a hint of nerdy girl type vibe.
I try to move slowly and quietly trying my hardest not to wake her up. She doesn't wake up instead she cuddles closer. I laugh quietly to myself and try to move again. This time she stirs and I freeze. She stops and I successfully make it out of the bed. I stretch and I mean the stretch where you keep stretching even though it starts to hurt but secretly feels good. Which was very much needed. Once I did that I look around her room not sure what to do. I decide the least I can do is complete some of our homework. Why not do some of hers while I do mine? She's obviously very tired and somewhat stressed so it would be the rational thing to do. Plus we have almost identical handwriting its just she writes her G's and Y's differently then I do. I open my backpack and hers, pulling out the work due tomorrow. I place all the things needed on the vanity before heading to a mini fridge I had just noticed, grabbing out a crisp cold water bottle. I take a sip before starting our work. I had just finished all of April's homework when she starts to stir again.
"Aura?"
"Yes sleeping beauty?" She sits up and leans against her headboard, facing towards me.
"What are you doing over there? Come back to bed please."
"I was just doing some homework. Also I finished yours for you. I hope that was okay." She smiles and gets out of the bed, making her way towards me. She plops herself in my lap snuggling into my shoulder.
"Thank you so much Aura! You didn't have to though."
"Mmm but I wanted to so I did. You obviously were stressed so I just wanted to help."
"Did you at least get your homework done?"
"Well I'm almost finished."
"You should've done your homework first Aura!"
"Mhm but I didn't." I say with a smirk. She blushes then hides her face in the crook of my neck so I won't see it. Welp, too late.
"What do you have to do next?" She says as she finally takes her face out of the crook of my neck.
"Just about three more sentences for the short autobiography Mr. Nelson assigned."
"Well just let me finish it for you. I have to repay you somehow."
"No you don't. You don't have to repay me for everything I do for you Ari." I say laughing a little.
"But I should." She whines. I shake my head no before lightly pecking her lips.
