Night

~Destiny~

I knew it was gonna be another day of  getting dragged around, not knowing what the hell was going on. I was ready to be thrown into any job he may have ready for me.

Now, I'd seen enough guns during my time with him, but I didn't expect him to haul me somewhere where guns were all I could see.

This warehouse was huge. I didn't know how it was hidden in the backroads so well. The walls were stories and stories high, and it extended farther than my eyes would let me see. Guns were mounted on the walls as if it was some unholy collection.

Michael looked around at the guns, much like someone would at a clothing shop. He talked to the man that led us through this place.

"I don't know exactly what you and the guys are planning, but this-" The man picked up a what looked like a pistol. "It's small and compact, but can shoot up to five rounds without being reloaded because the bullets are smaller, but they come out with much more force, causing a lot more damage. I know for your lifestyle, small, yet dangerous is the way to go."

Michael's eyes instantly lit up once the guy placed it in his hands. He turned it over and inspected it for a few long moments before speaking again.

"Yeah, I'll take it. I need about ten."

The man nodded and walked away and out of sight. I began connecting the dots, and realized this was a gun shop.

A huge one.

But with all the guns he has, why does he need more?

I took another leap of faith and decided to fix my lips to ask him a question.

"Michael, why are we here?"

He cut his eyes at me for a short moment before walking away in front of me.

I rolled my eyes and hurried up behind him.

"Seriously? You're gonna ignore me?"

"It's not that hard to." He said, without looking at me.

I scoffed and crossed my arms. He turned around with an unamused look plastered on his face. He was never really amused.

"You should know by now I don't offer information to just anyone. You can say that I've told you enough to get your jobs done, and nothing more than that. You just don't need to know everything, Des."

A small smirk played on his lips and he shrugged lightly. It was almost cute.

He turned around and walked away, but I didn't follow him. I was too busy planning in my head to run after him.

"Get me drunk and see how much I reveal."

A smirk was now on my lips.
