"I'll make you an offer you can't refuse."~~~

The longer I was there, the harder it became for me to actually focus on the task at hand.
We'd been contacting every international spy we had on hand to try and figure out any information on Joey Nero's whereabouts.
So far, all we knew is that the protection he once had shifted right back to him faster than it moved.
That wasn't enough to stop me.
I'd been gone all day, even though I told Destiny I would be "back before you know."
And something was just itching me. She and Kilo alone. In a beach house.
And it was getting late too.
I sighed to calm myself down. Dammit, I hoped Kilo new better than that.
I hoped Destiny knew better than that.
"Boss."
I snapped out of my thought trance and focused back on Arrow, Ryker, and Mordecai.
"Did you hear anything we just said?" Arrow asked.
I shook my head. "I actually didn't. Run it back."
"We just got a call from Victor. He says that at Joey's house there's a balcony around the back that he'll usually go out on late at night to smoke a cigar. If we can catch him then, that's an easy kill." Arrow explained.
I nodded. "The first time should've been easy enough." I said. "I'm chucking it up to a fluke. "Don't do it again or you'll feel the wrath that you've never had to experience from me."
Fear flashed through his eyes. "Yes boss."
"Good. Now get it done."
I walked out of the dusty motel room and speed walked outside to the car. I couldn't shake that feeling. That paranoia.
I prayed that I wouldn't walk in on Kilo doing every unspeakable thing to Destiny.
To my Destiny.
The closer I drove to the house, the more anxious I became. How would I even react if I walked in on something like that?
There was only one way to find out. Before I knew it, I was standing right in front of the door, turning the knob.
I swung the door open super fast to see Kilo sitting in the living room looking at me like I was crazy.
"Is everything cool?" Kilo asked.
I looked around, looking for any posible sign of any sex around. Kilo looked completely normal, and Destiny wasn't around.
"Yup. I'm good." I said.
"Did y'all figure it out?" He asked.
"Yeah. They'll handle it tonight."
He nodded in response, and turned back to his phone in his hand.
Destiny slowly came down the stairs into the living room. She looked like she cleaned up herself from last night. She was wearing my robe, and she looked dangerously good in it.
My eyes were glued to her for a long moment, because I was simply unable to look away.
I cleared my throat. "Kilo."
