By the second wave of the battle, all the Avengers now knew I was out of the cage, but then again, none of them seemed to care for we were all fighting in this brutal battle together. My mind occasionally wondered to Loki and my insides dropped to my feet whenever I couldn't see him.

I wondered what my father would say about my relationship with Loki. Would he be happy for me? Or would he forbid it due to his hate towards the god of Mischief? I snapped out of my train of thoughts when a serpent-machine came right for me. I created a gale of wind to hold him back but he only fell through it.

I pivotted around and ran away from it. I threw a glance over my back and saw that it was only getting closer and closer but then my father came zooming out of the air and blasted him into the building with the rockets on his palm.

"Hela is here. Now's your chance, kiddo."

My father scooped me up into his arms and ascended into the air. We flew over everyone and I could clearly see how the battle was going below. I could see Steve fighting off the monsters with his shield and Wanda uses her telekinesis. My father lowered me down precisely below the portal.

In the distance, I could see two figures approaching. One a rather large one and the other skinny and shorter than him. Thanos and Hela were here. Now the real battle will begin.

The Avengers all stepped up behind me and my father as we awaited Thanos and Hela. My nerves were shot and my hands heated up. My father glanced down at my shaking hands and interlocked our fingers. My head shot up at him in surprise but he was staring into the distance.

Their figures came closer and closer until they were standing a feet away from us. My eyes roamed Hela's appearance and I gulped softly. She had a deadly sneer etched upon her lips and her black hair waved behind her in the wind.

"Well, well, well. Is this what Midgard looks like? How. . . disgusting." Her tone changed almost instantly. Her gaze flittered across everyone's faces until they came to rest upon Thor and Loki's. "Hello brothers."

"Leave now, Hela, and no one dies." Thor's voice boomed behind me and I erupted into goosebumps at the coldness that dripped from his mouth.

"It is a pity that you don't look like Odin," Hela grinned as daggers protruded from her wrists, "I really liked him."  Hela started to walk towards us and her gaze fell on me. "You're not quite human, are you? You're half-asgardian."

I twirled my daggers in my palms before positioning myself in a defense posture. Hela chuckled darkly and aimed her daggers at me but I didn't flinch when she pressed the tip against my neck.

In the background, my father and the rest of the Avengers had started to fight Thanos. Hela lowered her dagger and looked me up and down, her lips curling towards the sky.

"You could be great, you know, if you join the right side."

"I am on the right side and you are in our way to victory." I smirked and plunged my dagger into her side but she simply pulled it out and threw it aside.

"You insolent little girl! You can not defeat me!" Hela hissed through gritted teeth and threw her dagger towards me but I crouched, missing her aim.

She kept throwing daggers at me and I rolled away to miss them but one pierced my skin and I moaned in pain, holding onto my side where the blood had started to ooze out. I swayed slightly on my feet as I watched her approach me.

"You will not win this," I called out the elements and began to build a cage around Hela.

"What are you doing?" Hela screeched and she threw another dagger towards me and it plunged into my abdomen.
