The clip of me and Peter was still cruising the news the next morning as well as Thanos' appearance at the high school. Thor and Loki left for Asgard at the crack of dawn. Natasha and Clint had a S.H.I.E.L.D - related mission in Afghanistan to gather more information about the suits Thanos had been rebuilding.

Wanda and Cap were down in the training arena, practicing their skills and my father and Banner were in the lab, looking up possible power sources to close the portal when Thanos plans to open it, but by locating the Tessaract and stealing it from his grasp will leave him unable to open a portal, that's why Loki and Thor left for Asgard - to see if Heimdall could find the Tesseract.

I swished out my mouth with some mouthwash before splashing my face with some cold water. I caught my reflection in the mirror above the basin and checked out my bruises. They were healing steadily. I dried my hands and face before stepping out of the bathroom and heading back to my room.

"Hey kiddo, are you okay?"

I spun around and faced my father as he stood in the doorway, his signature glasses on his face and dressed in a grey suit with a white T-Shirt, Iron Man printed onto the material. I chuckled mentally as my eyes travelled back up his physique to hold his gaze.

"Yes dad."

"Unfortunately we're not going back to Long Island. With Thanos' appearance yesterday, I'm afraid the mansion isn't safe. I'd rather have you here among the the rest of the Avengers."

"I understand."

He took off his black glasses before crossing his arms over his chest, a smile plastered across his features. "I have a surprise for you."

He motioned me to follow him and we took the stairs down to the ground floor. In the doorway of the entrance stood a ginger-haired woman, suitcase in hand, wearing a black pencil-skirt and a white dress-shirt.

"Mom. . ." I basically laughed through my tears as I ran across the room into her warm embrace.

"Hello darling." My mother whispered into my auburn hair.

I sighed in content and backed up, allowing her to perceive my appearance. She eyed me up and down before a proud smile curled her lips upwards. She held me at arms-length.

"I can't believe how much you've grown. You look just like your father," her gaze landed on my father behind me, "I've missed you."

A wide smile crawled across my lips as I watched her stride towards my father, wrapping her arms around his neck, and planting a tender kiss on his lips.

My phone beeped and I quickly fished it out of my pocket. I switched on the screen and saw it was a message from the group I was added.

Ned💬: We're all hanging out at Peter's house. You should come too, Sage.

Liz💎: Yes, then you can tell us all about how Spiderman saved you from that rock-giant.

MJ💅: Sure, because we'd all like to hear about that.

I read the text messages and chuckled heartedly. I looked up from the screen, smiling at my mom and dad who were laughing together.

"Hey, is it okay if I go to Peter's for a few hours? A group of friends are heading over there to relax for a bit."

"Will his aunt be there?" My father released his hold on my mother and walked towards me.

"I believe so, dad." I laughed.
