This is our first time to create a fanfiction with an AU specifically Omegaverse. Since it is our first time, we only have limited knowledge about Omegaverse and how it works so please bear with us!

Also this story contains characters from Haikyuu!! and was connected into a Mafia AU.

Akaashi's POV

I have always lived the life I wanted to curse. I was said to be born in the wrong family. My father, Fujihara Atsushi, has strong genes, most of our family members were born Alphas like him. Until their generations of alphas stopped. He had a child on his first wife, a beta, and he's my older half brother, Kuroo Tetsurou. Tetsu was also a beta like his mother. Out of all 3 divisions, I happened to be born from my father's omega, and turned out to be an omega. I hated it.

Our life depended so much in our division, me and Tetsu are the only beta and omega children in the family of Fujiharas. It pissed them off to the point that we can't even carry our father's surname with us.

Tetsurou is finally turning 25 next month, and he was chosen by our father to take over his position as the mafia boss. Yes, we live in a life of surviving through illegalities. Not that I complain I wasn't the heir, I like the idea too. I even thought of living by myself in the suburbs once Tetsu becomes the mafia boss. My father looks down to other mafia bosses that happens to be omegas. He thinks omegas are way too soft for the job.

I was too drowned in those thoughts that I suddenly heard my bedroom door creaked open after a few knocks. It's Iwaizumi, my official guard.

"Damn, calm down. I can smell your stress pheromones from outside, you know?" Iwaizumi said as he enterred the room. It was fine for me, he has been working for my father for a long time now and we are close friends.

"Sorry about that." I apologized, getting myself out of bed.

"What's with the stress anyways?" I slowly decreased my pheromones before I gather up some words to answer.

"Nothing much, I was just thinking."

"Well then, hurry up thinking. Your father told me he wanted to see you in an hour."

"What about?"

"Probably gonna be telling you how excited he was to quit so Kuroo can have the job."

I let out a long sigh. Can't I just have a break here?

"Okay, get out. I have to shower." I start to slowly push Iwaizumi out of the room.

"Meet him in his office, he said." Iwaizumi said.

"Okay, I get it. I get it." I closed the door behind me. I sighed again.

I've never sighed this much in a day before.
