CHAPTER 16 - A RAINY DAY

Kuroo's POV

I got upstairs to see the sight of my father hitting Keiji all of a sudden, I butted in even if it would make my father more upset.

"What are you saying, dad?!" I yelled at him.

"Why don't you ask your brother what he did to deserve that violence." He still didn't break the glare he have.

"You should have let him explain himself first." I calmed my voice. I don't want to worsen things.

"It doesn't need an explanation. Stop taking your brother's side!"

"Forget it, it's no use." Keiji suddenly said.

My father's glare at him just won't budge, but he fell silent. He took out a gun and pointed it at Keiji. What the fuck? I immediately grabbed the gun out of his hand, he gasped as I did so.

"What are you doing, Tetsurou?!" He vented.

"You already treated him the worst all his life, it won't be fair for him to die because of your own choice either!" I exclaimed back at him.

We both glared at each others for a while before Keiji stood from his position and started running out the mansion. I was about to run after him, but my father held my wrist, stopping me.

"You're all useless human beings. Give me back the gun, and get out. I don't want to see your faces anymore. If I see any of you, I won't hesitate to kill." My father said before walking out into his office followed by his guards.

Keiji hasn't gone far at this point, we can still find him on our way out. Semi managed to follow him, it would be easier to track them both.

Semi's POV

I tried to run in a faster pace but I just couldn't keep up with Akaashi. I lost sight of him. Shit. I took deep breaths before trying to run again and see if I can still see him in the distance. As I was running, a car parked beside me, it was Kuroo with the others.

"Get in." Kuroo called.

I got in and was surprised to see Iwaizumia and Oikawa with their daughter inside the car too. Iwaizumi explained that we were all fired by Fujihara-san. Finally. But for Akaashi, it's still not over.

"So, are you gonna tell me why dad and Keiji fought?" Kuroo opened up whilst driving.

"He heard us talking about something..." I was a bit hesitant to tell him, I feel like Akaashi will hate me if I told Kuroo about it.

"What something?"

"Well, Akaashi is pregnant... and Bokuto is the father." Everyone turned their eyes on me as soon as I finished my words.

"Why didn't I know this?" Iwaizumi butted in.

"Because Akaashi said not to let you know about it?"

"Wait, how did that happen?" Kuroo spoke.

"I don't know. I also thought he was more of getting close to Omi, until I saw them one morning... on the same bed."

"Can we not hear more about this? Something happened between them, that should explain how Akaashi got pregnant." Oikawa said as he rolled his eyes.

It really is a pretty embarrassing stuff to talk about, most importantly, it's an experience of someone who is not with us at the moment.

"Where do you think Keiji will run off to?" Kuroo asked.

None of us gave an answer, none of us really knows where Akaashi will run to. It's not like he can just run to Bokuto's place since he hasn't been there yet.

Akaashi's POV

I couldn't be more happier knowing that my father didn't even bother ordering one of his men to follow me. I only expected that Tetsu and the others will be the ones looking for me.

I'm so tired.

I feel like I have already drained all my energy, but I haven't even gotten that far. Just a few more steps, I'll make it to a small town. My father's headquarters is located to the city next to this small town, I have to figure out a way to get out of this damned place.

After resting for a bit, I continued to run my way. I made it into the small town, not lots of people live here but enough people can make you feel like the place is crowded. I didn't even notice that I was going out of breath again, so I sat on the ground.

"Akaashi?" A voice called me. I jolted as I heard it. I turned around to see where it was coming from.

Finally.

"Bokuto?" I responded. He smiled at me then proceeded to give me a hug.

"What happened? Why are you out here?"

"I ran away, my father wants to kill me."

"Why would he do that?" He lets go of the hug to caress my face.

"Cause he found out I was pregnant and you were the father." I sobbed.

He smiled at me again.

"I ran away too. They told me to since I failed to put the offer a success in our side." He wiped the tears off my face.

"Why are you here?"

"This is the closest place to you. Come with me, I have a friend who lives here, I am temporarily staying with him until my house in Tokyo is finished."

"Would it be okay for your friend if you brought me there?"

"It's fine. You need extra care since you have our little world in there."

I held his hands as I tag along. I felt relieved and comfortable now that I saw him. Nothing matters anymore, I don't care if they get tired of searching for me. I will never return back to the old rainy days.

"We have arrived." Bokuto said. He arrived at a small house, but not really that small. His friend welcomed us by the door.

"Oh, you returned. Who's that with you?" His friend asked.

"This is Akaashi, he's my boyfriend." Bokuto responded. A smile formed in my face as I heard him say it. "Oh! I forgot. This is my friend, Konoha. We've been great friends since high school." Bokuto continued as he turned to me.

"It is very nice to meet you." I greeted.
