CHAPTER 12 - WHERE EVERYTHING GOES DOWN

Sakusa's POV

I was busy doing my reports, just putting some informations of what happened today. Akaashi's father will be back in 5 days and that is when I will know which of us has impressed Akaashi.

I have come to noticed how rarely I see Akaashi and Bokuto going out, it must be that Akaashi has given up on him. He wasn't transparent in his job as I am. I wanted to have this offer fall onto our family.

I don't want anything from this offer other than the inheritance and wealth we'll make use of. Akaashi must know already that he is only worthy of bearing offspring, nothing more.

As I was typing in the last of my reports, I suddenly heard mumbles from outside. By this time, no one goes out of their rooms, must be Iwaizumi checking everything out.

I got up and went to the door. The mumbles, it doesn't sound like Iwaizumi after all. I was curious, so I peaked through the door. It was Bokuto and Akaashi, talking in a low voice. What are they doing outside at this hour? Is that even allowed? My questions were answered after I saw Akaashi walked right into Bokuto's room.

Akaashi wasn't accompanied by either Semi or Iwaizumi, and we are not allowed to be with each others without their consent.

I walked back to my bed and proceeded to finish my reports, of course, what happens today is what should be the content of our report, I have to put this one in.

I can't lose to him.

Kuroo's POV

"You sure are a pain in the ass, are you?" I asked as I look directly at Oikawa, laying sickly in his bed.

"It's not like I wanted this!" He exclaimed at me.

"I'll be the one taking the reports to Semi, I'll just bring Mirai with me."

"Okay, don't forget to bring her home."

I took Mirai from their room and left just as immediately. In my hands are the reports that we needed to submit. It was Semi's task to bring those reports to the headquarters, where my father is staying right now. Their transactions are ending 3 days earlier, he'll be home sooner than planned and Keiji will be deciding by the time he returns.

I don't know, but some parts of me are excited to see who was the one that impressed the omega in Keiji. It's not like Keiji wouldn't be able to pick one between them.

"Where are we going?" Mirai said, breaking my endless thoughts.

"To the mansion, I'm gonna bring this important stuff to Semi." I replied.

She turned her gaze back to the window, mesmerized by the views passing by as the car runs.

We made it to the mansion safe and fast, we stayed a bit. I don't wanna leave immediately after seeing Mirai happily clinging to Iwaizumi. She must have missed her father so much.

"Where's Keiji?" I asked.

"He's still asleep. I don't know what has been happening to your brother, he seems to be more attached to his bed than anywhere and anyone else." Semi replied, not even bothering to look at me as he spoke.

"Better than him not being able to sleep. Anyways, I gotta go back, still got to look out for Kenma, and that little girl."

"Why? Can't Oikawa have time to look out for Mirai?"

"I wouldn't say that, Oikawa's pretty sick today that's why."

"Maybe you can leave her here with Iwaizumi for a while until Oikawa gets better."

"He'll probably cuss at me when he sees me back without Mirai. After all, Iwaizumi is a busy guy, Mirai's not causing any troubles anyway."

We said our farewells to them before getting back to the car and leaving.

We got back to a quiet home, everyone seems to be much quieter than usual. I brought Mirai to their room to see Oikawa asleep on their bed. No one's gonna be able to look out for her, so I decided she could stay in our room for a while.

As I got in our room, Kenma was busy with his games again, even though he just gave birth and got out of the hospital yesterday.

Semi's POV

My worst part of the week is submitting the reports to their headquarters. Everyone's eyes are locked into me as I walk through the halls, two guys behind my back. They led me to Fujihara-san's office.

I handed him the reports as soon as he signalled me to come nigh. I waited for him to say if I can leave. Everyone around me were armed, it scares me all the time.

"What is this on Kiyoomi's report?" I jolted as Fujihara-san spoke. He handed me Omi's report, pointing exactly at the statement that he wants me to verify.

What exactly is this in his report? He caught Akaashi and Bokuto late at night. I don't know what to tell him.

"Don't you think it's a mistake?" I said, I was trembling.

"I'm not stupid, Semi. He wouldn't put it there if it didn't happen, am I right?"

"What if he's lying about it?"

"So you're saying I am stupid?"

"No, no of course not." My voice is shaking.

"I'll return in 2 days, but you are not allowed to say a single word to them, I will eliminate you."

"Yes, I understand."

"Now, get out."

The same guys escorted me out of his office. I can't say that he will return earlier than expected. I don't wanna die, but I also don't want anything bad to happen to Akaashi. I know he's angry, not disappointed, but downright angry.

On my way back to the mansion, I couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. I keep wondering what would happen when he returns, we're all gonna be in big trouble.
