CHAPTER 17 - SUN AFTER THE RAIN

Akaashi's POV

Bokuto's friend, Konoha has welcomed me in his home. I couldn't be more thankful. I sat beside them as they continue to talk.

"You didn't mention to me you got a boyfriend." Konoha opened up.

"Well, if I try to explain, it's gonna be such a long story." Bokuto replied.

"Kou... Can you promise me that you won't tell anyone where I am?" I suddenly interrupted.

"I promise." He answered with a smile.

I must have been so tired that time that I didn't notice myself slept. I woke up seeing myself placed in a bed. I rub the sleep off my eyes, and saw Konoha enter the room.

"You're already awake? Bokuto left to buy some dinner. He'll probably be back soon." He said. He came to me and proceeded to place some patches in my cheek.

It hurts.

"Did you got into a fight before you came here?" He asked.

I must have gotten a bruise when my father hit me.

"No, I just grew up in the worst home." I responded.

"You have abusive parents?"

"No, it's just that I don't have freedom and this is what I get for not following their rules."

"Let me guess, you got that when they found out you're pregnant?"

"Good guess."

Kuroo's POV

We stopped by a small town and see if we can ask the people about Keiji. We all split ways, only Eita was left in the car with Kenma and the kids.

As we were out looking around, I suddenly spotted a familiar figure. It's Bokuto. I ran towards him calling his name.

"Hey Bo!" He turned around as he heard me calling for him.

"Oh, Kuroo. It's been a long time." He said.

"What are you doing here?"

"My parents threw me out, I've been staying here in a friend's house. I'll be leaving to Tokyo soon anyway."

"Can you help us?"

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Keiji ran away, we've been searching for him."

"I would love to help, but I need to return to my friend."

"I see, well then, just give me a call when you see him."

"Okay, bro. I got you."

I handed him a piece of paper, written there is my number for him to call. I know if Keiji sees him, he will not hesitate to go with him.

I ran back to the others, we need to rest also. We've been searching almost the whole day.

Where could he be right now? I know he wouldn't have gone far. He's not gonna take himself in the city next to this town, there are wandering alphas in there that may put him in trouble.

Akaashi's POV

Me and Konoha has been talking about each others for a while, not to mention how he literally made me talk about how me and Bokuto met.

"What's going on here?" Bokuto said as he suddenly came into the room.

"Nothing much, we're just talking." Konoha answered. He stood up from the bed and went out of the room.

"Looks like Konoha already helped you with your bruise." He opened up, turning his gaze at me.

"Ah, yeah. I didn't even realize I had one."

"Why did you had one anyway?"

"My father hit me."

He saddened as I said. He pulled me in a hug.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled.

"It's not your fault. It's all because of me anyway."

I let go of the hug and placed a kiss on his lips. There's not much I wanted in this world but to live a normal life. It doesn't matter where and who will I live with. I just want to run away from my current life.

His kisses moved from my lips to my neck and from my neck to my scent glands. I tightened my grip on him as I felt stinging pain. He bit into my scent gland and licked off all the blood dripping.

After that, he placed a patch over it. It's gonna leave a scar but that scar is his mark.

"Sorry, I should have told you before doing that." He said with a grin.

"It's alright." I smiled.

We went out of the room and ate dinner with Konoha afterwards.

"We'll be leaving tonight. We'll be moving in to my house in Tokyo." I heard as Bokuto said to Konoha.

"Well, if you want to get there by the morning, you can ride the bus that stops here every 22:30 in the evening." Konoha answered.

"Then, we'll be leaving now."

"Yeah, cause it'll be late soon."

Bokuto gets all the stuffs for the leave. He went to have a word with Konoha before returning back into the room.

"Hey, come here." He called.

I came near him as he called. He scented me.

"You don't need to do that." I opened up.

"Well, it's better than seeing you unsafe."

He's so happy.

We were now standing by a waiting area, waiting for the bus to arrive.

"Akaashi? Where are you going?" I turned around and saw Kenma. I smiled at him.

"I'm-" I was interrupted as I heard Tetsu called for Kenma.

We were both surprised as we saw each others.

"The fuck bro? You told me you'll give me a call if you saw Keiji!" Tetsu exclaimed.

"Alright, I'm sorry. He told me not to tell anyone." Bokuto responded.

"And where are you taking him?"

"We're going to live in Tokyo."

I heard Tetsu sighed. "Aren't you going too fast on my brother, you even marked him!" He continued.

All of us went silent, until we heard the bus incoming.

"We need to go, just tell Eita and Iwaizumi that I'll keep in touch." I said as I turned to Tetsu.

"Well, be careful. Call me if this guy does anything bad to you!"

"I would never hurt your brother!" Bokuto butted in.

We waved goodbye to them as we got in the bus. The bus soon got full of passengers.

I felt Bokuto held my hand.

"This is the first time you got far out of your home, right?" He said.

I leaned my head on his shoulders. I looked out the window, seeing the view of the small town outside. I can even see the mansion from here.

I formed a smile. I'm free.
