CHAPTER 11 - DAYS OF PRETENDING

Akaashi's POV

Ever since that day, nothing has come often but me and Omi's dates. We began to have more time with each other's than anyone else.

4 days had already passed, those 4 days are nothing but me and Omi dating. A lot of dating. From morning til night. Of course our time with each other's aren't really the only time I can lend.

Every night I would sneak in to Bokuto's room. We would hang out, talk about each others, make love, find our common interests, and even plan on how we would live the life our parents gave us. I don't stay the whole night, after doing what we intend to do, I would return back to my room. Both of us waking up to the morning finding each other's gone.

"Did you suddenly had insomnia? You've become more sleepy than usual." Iwaizumi opened up. I snapped out of my thoughts as he did.

"No, I guess I'm just more tired than I thought." I responded. Of course, it's a lie.

I went out again with Omi today, it's always his time in the morning. It's gonna last until tonight again.

"Have you already decided?" Omi said out of the blue.

"Decided on what?" I replied.

"Who impressed you."

"I haven't."

It's a lie, but I still can't say it just yet.

"Well then, what do you want to-" his words were cut off as my phone started to ring. It's Oikawa.

I said my excuses to Omi before answering the call. It's about Oikawa calling me to say that Kenma gave birth today. I was delighted. I felt excited for Tetsu, he's become a father. I wished to see him along with Kenma and their baby, but my schedules says no. My father wouldn't even let me even if I'm free the whole day.

"What was that about?" Omi asked as I kept my phone back to my pocket. I literally forgot I was with him for a few seconds.

"My brother welcomes his first child today." I said to him with a smile. It was unintentional, but I guess I was really happy today.

Omi suddenly pulled me into a hug, I was stunned. I don't want him thinking I was distant, so I responded by hugging him back.

"You look absolutely gorgeous when you smile." He softly spoke. I smiled more although he wouldn't see it.

Kuroo's POV

Our long awaited day has come, another date marked as important in our calendar. Kenma gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I was more than happy. Looking at him holding our son in his arms is the best view I have ever seen in my entire life.

"How are you doing?" I asked in a sweet tone, softly caressing his cheeks.

"I'm good. I'm sorry but, he looks so much like you than me." He replied. We both laughed.

"Have you thought of a name yet?"

"Gideon."

Gideon means great warrior, it was a name from me and Kenma's favorite video game. We decided to name him Gideon for it's meaning, so he can face life's challenges like a great warrior. Unlike me who keeps running away from it.

"I already called Akaashi and told him the news. You were right, he was really happy when he heard about it. Since he's not allowed to leave, he wanted me to say congratulations and that he was very happy for the both of you." Oikawa opened up as soon as he got in the room. Along side him was Mirai.

I carried Mirai onto my lap, and gave her a better view of the baby.

"She's so cute!" Mirai's eyes sparkled at the sight.

"Actually, it's a he." I corrected her. She gasp as she realized her mistake. She is definitely above adorable.

Akaashi's POV

The day was faster than I thought. It's getting darker now. I sighed in realization. I spent a whole day with Omi again, it's the 5th day of us going out. We sat by a bench near the beach, the sunset looks way more calming here.

"Akaashi." Omi called as he held my hands and intertwined our fingers. I looked at him as a response. "Can I tell you something?" He continued.

"Of course, go ahead." I responded with a smile.

"I love you, Akaashi. Even if you think you're being pulled into the depths of your sadness, I will find a way to save you out of it. We will live the life you wanted to curse, but will change it into the life you wanted to last."

My heart dropped as he said his words. I was surprised when he suddenly pulled me in a kiss. It lasted longer than I thought it should. I'm also confused why I didn't try to pull myself out of it. He stopped to look in my eyes, I was totally speechless.

You're just not the alpha I wanted.

Before we knew it, Iwaizumi was standing behind the bench, with a suspicious glare.

"We're heading back. You've done awfully a lot of cringe-worthy scenarios here and there. Which shouldn't be done yet." Iwaizumi said to us. He was actually staring at Omi the whole time.

Kisses isn't really part of the things we are banned to do, but it is also not part of the things that we could do. It is something not discussed, so it's an unsafe stuff to do. Kissing actually rushes one's heat. But I can't go into heat, heats can be delayed if an intercourse happened beforehand.

We walked back to the car, holding each other's hands. Nothing about it gave me butterflies, all I can remember from this was the time Bokuto first held my hand. My heart throbbed again from the thought of it. I'm seriously in love with that guy.
