CHAPTER 5 - REST DAY

Akaashi's POV

The meeting finally ended. Me and my father will escort them outside with a few guards with us. My father will definitely leave with them, he's going to their headquarters for a day.

"Don't you fret, you'll be seeing them next week for as long as you want." My father said before leaving with the others. Yeah, as if I'll overthink about them.

I walked back inside, behind me is Iwaizumi. Of course, no other than him can follow me up to my room.

"You can leave now and rest." I said to him as I open my bedroom door.

"Alright. Call me when you need anything." He replied before proceeding to walk away.

As I enterred my room, I was welcomed by Eita with his ear to ear smile. Is he really that excited because I get to meet those alphas?

"Sooo? How did it go?" Eita leaned towards me with a huge smile on his face.

"You're acting weird. I just met them, exchanged names and all. Most of it is just boring." I replied.

He frowned at me, he must be expecting something a lot different from what I said.

"So, did one manage to impress you by just their appearance?" He smirked as he asked.

"You're disgusting, and I hope you know that." A disgusted expression is what formed in my face. He laughed at me.

"Lower your standards and expectations. They're alphas, female or not, they can devour you."

As if I'd let that happen. I've been saying a lot of as ifs today. I pray none of them uses their commands on me, it would literally be a huge trouble.

Tetsu walked in my room, no knocking just like the others. I don't really think my room is a personal space.

"You might wanna tell us what happened with the big boys in there. Sharing is caring, ya know." He looks so into it.

"Nothing exciting or even worth telling happened. Just the usual introduction." I replied, not really wanting to lengthen the conversation. I don't even want to talk about those guys, they are so out of my interests.

"Well, you don't need to be interested before starting to like something." Tetsu smiled at me. I cringed. He's right but not all things goes to that kind of saying.

"Can you guys leave me for a few minutes? I wanna be alone and try to think things through."

They all nodded before leaving the room altogether. I sighed. Why does my life have to be this hard?

Iwaizumi's POV

I walked back to our room just to find Mirai doing some drawings. She seems to have it as her hobby.

"What are you drawing there?" I spoke on a soft voice, not really wanting to scare her.

"Me, you and papa!" She then formed a bright smile.

All of her drawings is the same. Maybe because drawing the three of us altogether comforts her, cause it rarely happens in reality.

"Are you going out again?" She opened up with a pout.

I came near her and patted her head. "Not yet, so why don't we draw something together while i'm not busy?"

She gave a cute nod and I sat beside her. Picking up one crayon from the table and started helping her draw.

"What would you like to draw?" I asked.

"A flower! I heard it from papa when he told me that his scent were roses and honey!" She happily replied.

Ever since Mirai was born, she hasn't seen what a flower appears to look like, she only saw a sunflower once in screen. I'm definitely gonna be the first man to ever buy my daughter a flower.

Kuroo's POV

"I'm heading back to Kenma." I said to Semi before starting to walk my way back to our room.

Kenma is surprisingly more distant, irritated and a sleephead today than any other day. Is this a sign of him nearing birth giving?

Aside from that, we need to prepare for a temporary stay at my grandmother's mansion. Kenma may not like it there for the first time, my grandmother is very strict and seriously a little mean towards omegas. Although she acts like that all the time, it was just her alpha inside looking down at omegas, she is still a pretty nice lady.

"Why are you standing beside the door?" Kenma suddenly spoke. I turned my gaze on him.

"Nothing." I replied. I ran and sat beside him, pecking his cheeks. I gently placed my hand on his bloated stomach. It's such a nice feeling.

"What do you think it's gonna be?" I opened up.

"I prefer anything, what do you want it to be?" He looked at me with a smile.

"Anything either, as long as he will look like you, kitten." I caressed his face and gently pulled him into a kiss. It's been a while since we've been this affectionate.

For the next few days, Keiji's life will be turned upside down. I am not really wanting him to pick Bokuto, since Bokuto has been my friend since college years, it's just that I knew parts of that guy. The other guy seems to be pretty decent too, he looks like a guy who would treat him very well.

I don't have the rights to be involved in this offer and of course, I would love to be involved if anything bad happens to Keiji. It may be a ridiculous idea to go against alphas knowing I am just an ordinary beta, but for the least, I wanna do something to enlighten Keiji a bit in his life.

For real though, his life is a mess. I don't really want him giving up his whole life just because he knew I didn't want to be the heir. I can't risk Kenma in this dangerous job my father wants me to be in either. I've got no choice, we both just went with the flow. The dangerous flow our father chose for us.
