Chpt. 35

Ara's POV

The plane ride went smoothly, we arrived at France first. The boys and us discreetly moved through the airport. We arrived at the hotel and met at the lobby.
"Alright Ara, these are the boys keys and here is your, and in an hour we're meeting in the lobby conference room with the rest of the staff, be here by then" he handed me and keys and I nodded.
I turned back to the boys and smiled gesturing with my head.
"Alright guys let's go to our floor" I grabbed my purse and duffle bag.
We went in two groups up the elevator to the 34th floor.
"Alright so the floor is reserved by staff, so this is ours and with me and Sejin, and then it's the styling crew and concert staff" I spoke and began handing the cards to each member.
"Imma be at the end of the hall and Sejin's room is gonna be right here the first door at the beginning of the hall" I pointed.
"Go ahead and set your stuff and in a hour we're meeting at the lobby for a meeting" I informed them and they nodded. I'm sure they're Jet lagged.
We all went to our rooms and I arrived at mine. It's so nice and spacious. I opened my duffle.
"Why...." I sighed at the fact my suitcase got rejected.
*ding*
I looked over to my phone my reminder for my daily biotic. I look into my duffle bag..."uhhh..."
I looked through my bag and couldn't find..
"Where the hell...." I got my bag and flipped it upside down dropping everything into my bed.
"I swear I put them in here!" I go to my tote and do the same dropping everything onto my bed.
"Where is my pouch?" I looked everywhere...
"I have the boys pouch...where the hell is mine! I know I checked it off..." I spoke with myself. I held my palm against my forehead trying to calm myself.
"I'll take pain killers if it starts to hurt...no problem I'll go get some pain killers high in milligrams...yeah yeah..." I panicked.
*knock knock*
I stopped and turned to the door.
I slowly walk to the door and opened it.
"Do you have probiotics?" He spoke the second I opened the door.
"O-oh...umm" I looked at him and back to the mess in my room.
"Let me check really quick...I haven't settled in yet.." I told him and he furrowed his brows and my odd behavior.
"I'll look for them and take them to you Yoongi-ah" I told him and went to close the door...he looked like he was about to speak but turned away.
I go to the boys pouch and find his probiotics...but I can't find mine!
"It's alright it's alright...I can go to a pharmacy, and ask for a prescription"
I breathed deeply to chill out.
I began to organize my mess and put things back.
"Did I leave them in my suitcase??" I asked and tried retracing my steps.
I got my bag and Yoongi's probiotics and left the door down to the meeting.
Meeting the boys at the end of the hall, I handed Yoongi's bottle to him. He nodded his head and I smiled lightly.
"We're ready Ara" RM said and we made our way downstairs.
"Have you heard anything about your suitcase Ara?" Jhope asked and I shook my head.
I sighed...
"No im not sure what went wrong..." I frowned. Once getting to the lobby we made our way to the conference room.
We made our way to our seats which were organized with table's in a "U" formation.
I sat in between RM and Sejin. The rest of the staff arrived.
The arrival of Mr.Kim and his neice Jenny made my mood sour.
RM looked over at me and I shook my head lightly at him to not react.
"Alright are we all here" Sejin began.
The meeting began and we were just running through our roles.
"Ara also would like to add something herself" Sejin gestured to me and I stood up.
"Good evening everyone, I just wanted you all to know that not just the members, but to the staff as well if you don't feel well or became injured or need medical help please don't hesitate to approach me. I am here to make sure not just the members, but everyone else is good and healthy" I nodded and everyone else nodded and thanked me.
The meeting continued and the boys spoke here and there. Sejin emphasized that there should be no fooling around or distractions.
Once the meeting was finished mostly all the staff stayed and spoke with one another. I turned to talk to Sejin and let him know about my meds, but was soon interrupted.
"Ara right?" I turn to see her.
"Yes hello, how may I help you" I look at her, and she smiled.
"I just wanted to stop by and say hello, I don't think we were formally introduced a a few months back" she smiled and stretched her hand out. I hesitantly shook it.
"O-oh...hello" I replied and she kept her smile. It's so forced...you can see through it.
"So how are you liking the job? Fun right?" She began a conversation. I looked around catching some glanced from the members but quickly looked back at her to not be rude, she is older and were in front of plenty of staff.
"It's been great, there's something new everyday to take on and get done" I replied truthfully and she nodded.
"Plus you're up and close with the guys isn't that a perk Huh" she tried to nudge me but she didn't reach all the way.
"Umm...I don't think that's how I perceive it" I answered starting to feel uncomfortable to where this might go.
"Oh come on Ara, you can be honest...anyone would throw themselves for your position" She giggled, but I just chuckled nervously, but did not reply.
"Oh!" She continued
"I believe I overheard one of the managers saying you bag was rejected at the TSA, I forgot to bring it up, but it got sent it was just wrongly held back because of 'drugs' inside?" she stated and the people around us halted their conversation and turned to me and Jenny. The boys peered over...
'Did she deliberately just...'
Sejin overheard and choked on his drink...before cleaning his mouth and walking over. The room was becoming silent slowly.
"Jenny, please refrain from stating such things that way, Ara is a registered nurse she's meant to carry medicines and prescribed drugs, the TSA just held the suitcase back to scan them it wasn't 'rejected'" Sejin spoke to her clear enough for everyone to go back to their conversation.
"Oh my goodness oppa, no no I meant no such thing I was worried for Ara she would've had her materials and clothing held back" She waved and him and he sighed and nodded.
"My goodness people don't mind their business they hear one thing and are all over it" Jenny scoffed.
"Tell me about it..." I sighed and drank my lemonade.
"Ara..." I look over my shoulder to see Jungkook next to me leaning in to my ear.
"Did you bring any banana milks?"  He retracted back looking at me with hope.
I laughed and nodded.
"I'll drop them off later, but don't drink them all in once go cause that's all I have" I told him and nodded excitedly.
"Oh? Jungkook hi" Jenny smiled over and he quickly dropped his smile and bowed to her formally saying hello.
"Oh come on don't be so formal with me, you can be comfortable around me like Ara" She smiled at him and he nodded and pressed his lips together.
"That would be rude of me, sunbae-nin" he chuckled and bowed again before leaving.
"They seem very fond of you.." she said looking over at the guys in their own crowd.
"I believe I've earned their trust" I responded and she looked over at me now.
"Bet you have..." she mumbled sticking out her bottom lip.
I raised a brow.
"Excuse me?" I asked her and she took a deep breath before clasping her hands together.
"Ara It's getting get do you want to head up?"
I turn to see Taehyung and the boys already some yawning specially Yoongi.
"Actually yes, we need to be up early and get some breakfast" I nodded at him.
"I hope you guys have room i would love to go out for breakfast!" Jenny smiled and I looked at Tae...not knowing what the hell to say.
"Sejin doesn't accompany us either only Ara to avoid crowds" Yoongi replied
She furrowed her brows.
"That doesn't make sense it'd be worse it they saw Ara?" She chuckled but I didn't neither did the boys.
"Ara's good at her job" Yoongi shrugged and I looked over at him, but he didn't meet my gaze.
"I'm sorry Jenny, maybe another time" I bowed and ushered the boys out.
"Sure.." she replied but I didn't turn around.
