Ara's POV
The boys finished filming, and luckily no retakes were needed.
"Alright we need to go back to the building and get started on the FILA shoot" I read to the boys who were getting their stuff together.
"Alright let's go" RM said and we all quickly thanked the staff and took our leave.
We made it to the vans and arrived at a timely manner at the building. We made our way up to the designated floor.
"Annyeonghasaeo~" A voice quickly calls and I turn to see a lady on the camera.
"Hello, I'll be filling in for Sejin today" I shake her hand and she smiles.
"Yes! I was informed it's a pleasure!" She smiled kindly.
"So we have everything ready to go we just really need the boys and they can do their thing and I'll snap some shots and if all is good them we can finish early, sound good?" She explained to us and the boys quickly nodded.
"Sounds perfect thank you" I agree. The boys get called over to stations where different stylist are getting them ready, they seem so professional compared to the 3 that were over earlier at the RUN episode.
"Do you guys need anything at all?" I start checking up on them one by one.
"Could you go to my backpack i want to upload on Twitter" Jin called and I quickly retrieved his phone for him.
He was about to take it from my hands when the two entrance doors to the studio room bust open.
"A...Ara Rosas..." A man calls out. I quickly hand Jin his phone and walk over.
"Yes?"
"You're being asked for at a meeting by the chairman" He says gesturing me to follow. As much as my stomach dropped with nervousness.
"I'm in the middle of a photoshoot the boys haven't even started-"
"It's alright Ara we'll be fine go" RM said looking from the mirror to me. I hesitantly looked back and nodded.
I grabbed my folder and bag and followed the man.
We went up to the top, and walked to the conference room. I felt tension but that could be just me shitting bricks. Am I in trouble? Was it because of earlier...
...I'm so getting fired.
We walked in and a few faces looked over.
"Ara-shii please sit" Bang PD offered and I comply. There's only one other women in the room but she's standing in the corner of the room with a notebook in her hands scribbling away.
"Please wrote down as much as possible to fill in Sejin on his behalf I asked for you to attend" He stated and I nodded and quickly opened my folder and clicked my pen.
"Alright so USA...the tour has been confirmed already, the dates are set, we just need to release the tickets online and we will need to start packing everything we're going to need, this is a year long tour it's going to be heavy, very, but the group is growing and fast. We need to keep up. So...I want to hear ideas on what we should be taking focusing on, anything anything at all" he said
The staff from different department began speaking, all the hair department spoke on needed secure packaging for all their supplies, the clothing department spoke on making sure to reserve dry cleaners and making sure all the clothes are transported neatly, the sound department did mentioned about getting the boys new mics and ear pieces.
What I noticed...is that there is no medical crew? Hmm...odd. Do they usually just rely on the medical staff available at stadiums or?
I raised my hand. BangPD was listening to some man and he caught my hand and quickly focused to me.
"Where's the medical crew?" I asked and silence overtook the room.
"That's why there's medical teams arranged at each venue" One of the board members spoke. I looked at him and others who nodded.
"That's it? All the trust relies onto the medical venue team, who have no knowledge or info about the members?" I asked.
BangPD raised a brown and interlocked his fingers and rested his arms in the table intrigued. He doesn't look upset so I think he may be open to it.
"Why would we need a medical team, there's medics that come with each venue place incase of any emergency" The same board member spoke. Why do I get a vibe from him.
"Okay...now if I may, answer me this would you rather have a medic who will technically asses the situation slightly enough to just 'transfer' them to a medical facility and 'hope' the member will be okay, or have a med 'team' with knowledge of all the members medical details that will be able to asses the situation and prevent any critical or major injury from happening while keeping the members calm and communicating with them and the staff" I stated and all eyes were on me. I was speaking facts, so I don't feel embarrassed...yet still anxious.
"Wouldn't that be more of a hassle? The med team, more people to travel and supplies, and they would be technically doing the same as the med crew at the venues" another board member spoke.
"Same thing? no. Paramedics can only administer a handful of drugs and do so much just for transportation" I said
"and where do you suppose we pull this team from? The tour will start in a month or two" he spoke
"It doesn't need to be team, it could be a one person job department, I would just need to be provided supplies" I said
"You?" another member asked
I nodded.
"Yes, I'm a registered nurse I'm finishing my masters. I can take this role on without a problem. I can administer any drugs that a member may need incase of an emergency, run their labs, and so forth, I'm already assigned as their P.A i Can take this role on without a problem I would only have to do what's necessary when necessary" I mentioned and most of the departments nodded but the two men like always who kept asking questioned did not say anything.
"Yes" BangPD spoke and the two men looked at him flabbergasted.
"What? Will y'all find the team? Will you both go through hundreds of interviews and applications by next month" He told them and they avoided his gaze.
"Ara" He called to me and I turned my gaze.
"I expected more weight to drop on my shoulders from this meeting as we get ready for our tour but instead, you've relieved me from worries I was not even aware of. You give me the list of supplies, and I'll arrange a clinic where you can to go for labs and test, I'll leave that to my two peers here to do" he hands the two men his notes and they just nod and he looks back at me and smiles.
"Everyone were dismissed" he said and everyone began to walk out.
"Ara?" I heard a small voice call out to me and I turned.
It was the girl that was in the corner.
"H-hello?" I said it more in a questions because I was not familiar with her.
"I'm Hyorin, I'm a assistant in training, I just didn't see any familiar faces and you were the only girl...in there" She spoke while playing with her notebook
"Oh! Well nice to meet you! I'm Ara, I was just filling in for Sejin, but I'm glad I did I was able to take over the medical details for the members, because who knows what could happen" I sighed
"Yes! I didn't want to speak loudly but I completely was agreeing with you" she smiled and I feel at ease with her presence but just slightly.
"Oh! I'm glad! It's just normally I would've stayed quiet but when it comes to any medical sections or conversations it's my area of knowledge I may tend to overstep, but better safe than sorry" I made conversation with her and she was kind and sweet.
"Would you like to exchanged numbers?" She asks.
"Totally of course! Haha I sure need to make friends" I joked and she chuckled.
"Yes it's hard starting at a new company, specially an entertainment one, everyone is very strict and everyone has their circles" she says
'I wouldn't say circles' I thought
"Well I need to get back to where I was before; the members are in a shoot, hope to see you soon hyorin" I smiled and waved.
"Likewise!" She waved and we parted ways.
She seems sweet! I smiled hoping to make nee friends.
