Chpt. 8

Ara's POV

I took the slides with the biggest grin.
"Aaaw! These are the cutest!!" I did a few hops.
"Can i put them on!" I looked at him and he nodded with a grin.
"Woahhhh!So comfy and cute!! I love them, Thank you Seokjin Oppa" I bowed and thanked him and he had a huge grin like a proud father. He waved me off and I kept eyeing them.
"Ara...about Jungkook" another voice came and my smile instantly dropped.
I looked up to see RM and the rest of the members except JK.
"We're sorry that he pulled that's stunt on your first day, we did scold him, cause many things could've happened not just to him but you too" he explained and I nodded.
"No I was at fault too, I should asked for a cab or Uber instead or checked for his license that was my mistake but it won't occur again" I bowed quickly and apologized, and they did as well.
"But...umm where is Jungkook..." I scratched my neck.
"He's been in his room...he'll probably come out later at night or might now, aside from scolding him I don't think he realized he was putting you at jeopardy too" Jin said and I frowned.
"Don't frown...hajima...Jungkook needs to realize when not to joke around" Jhope patted my back and I nodded at him.
"Well any who...do you all mind if I organize the the kitchen and all the groceries and I'll get started on dinner" I said.
"but we should help her unpack" Jimin and and everyone quickly began agreeing.
I began waving my hands.
"Nonono really! You don't-"
"You don't have an option Ara...from this day on, you're part of the BTS FAM" Jhope grinned widely causing me to chuckle at his goofy ness.
"Well could we atleast let Yoongi oppa rest, he was great help guiding me at the store and helping me find everything and driving me" I said and locked eyes with him and he furrowed his brows quickly saying "no I'm fine I can help"
I quickly thanked him again and asked them to show me to my room.
"The second floor is where your room is, Jungkook and Yoongi are up there too and then me, Jin and Jhope are in the first floor, and V and Jimin are in the lower floor" RM began guiding me.
"Some staff came earlier and dropped off all the boxes we didn't open them at all we just took them to your room" Jin said
"Ohh thank you so much!" I said and Jin waved it off smiling.
"Your room has a bathroom, Jk and Yoongi share the one that's at the end of the hall" Jin informed me, and I nodded.
We quickly got to the room. It was amazing, so spacious and neat.
I saw all the boxes of my stuff around the room. I'm sure they just put all my stuff in boxes Imma have to sort everything out.
"This is it" RM let me walk in.
"Wow....I've never had such room so big...so pretty" I mumbled
"Aaah...she's too cute" Jhope groaned
"Mmmhh" you heard agreement which made my cheeks warm. I turn back to the boys at the door.
"Thank you so much for letting me into your home and into your team, I promise I won't disappoint you and hope we become great friends and co workers!" I said and bowed once again.
"Yahhhh...Ara you're too formal with us still, but we appreciate that we are excited" Jin walked over and patted my shoulder. I smiled and turned to the boxes.
"Well I just really only need help taking the stuff out of the boxes, everything else I'll organize it myself" I smiled to them and they quickly nodded.
Within 30 minutes we got everything out of the boxes and onto the floor. RM and Jin went to throw away the boxes.
"You have pretty...clothes" V said as he crouched near all my clothes.
"Thank youu~" I chuckled
"Do you mind if I can help you organize them" he asked giving me a boxy smile and I nodded agreeing.
"Well that's all I really needed guys for now let me go ahead and begging dinner yes and organize the fridge" I said and they agreed and began leaving the room.
I closed the door and made my way downstairs. I felt a little more comfortable with them now that they helped me and all. I quickly made my way to the island which was huge and spacious amazing.

(A kitchen island is usually a surface in the middle of a kitchen of anything just google it)

I quickly organized the fridge and cabinets and put all the groceries where I figured they belonged to. I had water heating up, I began cutting tomatoes and sautéing them in olive oil with garlic and some onions, after they let the juice out I poured all that into blender. Once I finished I lured it back into the pan frying the sauce and adding tomato paste and fresh basil and some oregano and parsley.
....hmmm
I looked around for the alcohol. "Uhh..." I said and quickly looked out the kitchen into the living space.
"Umm...could you show me where your alcohol is" I asked Jimin who was sitting in the living room.
"The what..."his eyes widened
I quickly waved my hands with a nervous smile.
"A-Ahh! Not for me...for the sauce" I said
"Aaahhh!" He chuckled and got up and made his way over to the kitchen to a tall cabinet and opened it.
I backed up to see all the alcohol.
"Could I have the vodka.."I asked and he nodded.
He reached for it and handed it to me. I thanked him and quickly poured a ounce or two into the sauce and began mixing again.
"That smells really good...Ara-shii" Jimin leaned over
"Would you like to try it...I need some type of approval" I said picking up some in the spoon and blowing in it before carefully moving it towards his face.
He quickly sipped the sauce and made a few noises as he clocked his tongue.
"Ouhh! Yoongi would approve!" Jimin says with bright eyes
"Yoongi?" I said and he nodded
"He's the chef of the house" he laughed and I nodded. No wonder he new what to get at the grocery store.
"Should I get his approval?" I asked jimin and he nodded and left to call him.
I suddenly fell nervous what if he dislikes it...

I turned off the stove and began too put a strainer in the sink to drain the pasta. I went to the sauce and was about to cover it, before I heard shuffled behind me.
"Yes yess try it try it hyung its good" jimin pushed a tired Yoongi who was rubbing his eye.
"A-Ahh...jimin oppa you didn't have to wake him..." I felt bad jimin woke him
"What did you make" Yoongi began to walk to the stove.
I got the soon and mixed the sauce before dipping the spoon.
"I made a tomato sauce from scratch please try it and let me know if anything should be added" I said and blew lightly on the Soop before I moved it toward his face with my hand underneath the spoon incase I spilled. He lightly and I guess subconsciously held my fingers that were holding the spoon to I guess hold it in place as he sipped.
I noticed how...nervous I suddenly felt.
"Mmhh...that's really good, but have you added pepper and salt?" He raised a brow and my eyes widened.
"No...oh I forgot!" I quickly put the spoon back and search the table for the seasonings.
"Over here" I heard a voice and see Yoongi lightly putting salt and pepper info the salt and he gets the spoon and mixes it. Once he finished he tasted it and nodded. He suddenly held the spoon for me...
"I-I try it?"
"Mmh" he nodded
I carefully came closer and pressed my mouth lightly into the spoon and sipped, I now noticed how I did the space action he did as I held his hand lightly to hold the spoon in place. I quickly let go and taste the sauce.
"Mmmh! That's so much better...salt and pepper really do have a difference" I covered my mouth in surprised at the more extenuated taste of the sauce.
"Drain the pasta and grab the plates I'll fill the plates" he said as he mixed the sauce and began putting cups onto the table. Before setting the plates he stopped.
"Let's make some garlic bread" he said and began getting a loaf of bread from the cabinet and began cutting it.
"Make??"
"Yes it's easy" he said as he kept cutting the bread into slices.
"I've never 'made' garlic bread but I've bought some pre made" I thought to the times I've ate pre made garlic bread from Walmart back home.

"Hhaha it's so easy look" he chuckled which broke me from my thoughts.
"You melt butter add crushed garlic and garlic powder and parsley" he said as he mixed it all up. I got closer to look. I felt like a student watching a teacher.
"Then you just coat the bread with it and place them in the oven to toast" he said as he placed them into the oven next to the stove.
"Woah....6 steps.."I said in awe
"Mmhmm" he nodded wiping his hands on a napkin.
" *chuckle* well thank you for teaching me how to make garlic bread Chef Min" I joked and he scoffed with a chuckle.
"I'll teach you more stuff later on so you can be able to make food for the guys" he said and I nodded.
"I'd appreciate that a lot, but don't judge my cooking too much" I smiled and he raised his hands
"No promises" he said and shrugged with a grin.
I scoffed
"I'll call the guys" he said and left.
"This guy..." I scoffed again and tasted the sauce...."I think it's delicious" I said proudly.
I began serving plates and placing them in the table that was across from the kitchen. I'm assuming this is where they eat. I quickly placed forks and spoons, and chopsticks so they eat with whatever they please. Once I began smelling the bread I quickly took it out and placed it onto the table as well.
I began looking for the drinks.
The boys began coming into the kitchen few by few.
"Woahhh smells amazing" Jin said as he entered. I smiled at the compliment.
"Jin oppa where are the cups" I asked.
He quickly waved at me.
"Noo noo...the boys can get their own drinks, please eat with us" he said gesturing me to the table that was being filled by the boys, but I don't think I was ready to have a sit down dinner. I feel comfortable in certain times but then I realize where I am and get nervous.
"Actually I'm not that hungry, I would like to go freshen up if that alright oppa if you guys don't need anything else" I asked Jin and he nodded quickly.
"Yes yes! Go right on ahead!" I bowed quickly before he smiled and I returned the gesture and ran my way upstairs not wanting to know how my cooking was.

3rd POV.

Jin sat in the table with the guys.
"Is Jungkook still in his room?" Jhope asked and everyone nodded.
"Yah isn't he being too upset about the whole situation?" Jhope asked as he sipped his drink.
"I didn't even scold him I got there and told him to get in the cab and go home, Ara seemed genuinely concerned she was going to loose her job" Suga added.
"Honestly i know they could've gotten a cab but Jungkook was in the wrong in this one, we shouldn't tell Sejin about this alright" RM spoke
"Agreed, Ara seems to be trying hard and it's just the first day, she seems genuine and we can't keep going through P.A's anymore. Without one it's more stress and chaos for us. Let's prevent this from happening again. We shouldn't chase her off" Jimin spoke and everyone nodded
"Agreed" everyone mumbled.
"Why didn't Ara have dinner?" V asked.
"She said she wasn't hungry, but she probably still a little nervous specially after today, she may feel at fault that's probably why she made dinner" Jin said
"She can always come and grab anything she would like from the kitchen so Yoongi-hyung make sure to let her know that" RM said and he nodded.
