Grover was sweating buckets, it was hard for him to walk. Almost like he was being eaten from the inside and Annabeth and Tony (Little Tony) we're both leaning over him in a panic. He could feel Percy almost like Percy was in Grover's mind instead of his own. Percy was being shoved on top of Grover but he weighed a million pounds and more than that he could feel the emptiness where Percy's memories were again gone
"Do you think he can feel what Percy feels?" Connor asked, glancing at his brother (who was napping in a corner) for a moment as well. "When something really strong is happening to Travis I can sometimes feel it too so he can handle it better."
"Maybe," Annabeth wiped away sweat from Grover's brow. "Grover is that's what's wrong? Percy?"
Annabeth's hair was streaming past her face as the Argo 3 (or whatever number it is) sailed through the sky towards Percy. The tracker was still firmly attached thanks to Travis, (who is still napping, he's had a long few days okay guys? Oh also, hi! I'm back and now I have a full time job at a daycare! I'm an adult, it's kind of weird, I got my first paycheck. Going to save some to buy a blueberry bush in a few months. That is all the authors note you're getting for now. WOW, i starting writing this book so long ago, it's so much fun to just write old charaters and channel my inner teenager. Cause while I am an adult, I am most definitely a teenager. Why am I putting an authors note here? IDK.) and while they didn't have a visual because he was inside again, they knew his general area. Plus he'd like, told them his quardinates.
"Percy," Grover heaved out. "Kronos is killing him."
Annabeth bit her lip and Grover shut his eyes trying to—he wasn't even sure at this point. He could almost see Percy in his minds eye, thrown to the back of Percy's mind and being partially shoved through a tunnel. A tunnel that—well the other end was Grover's mind. The empathy link was almost like a tunnel they could shout down and talk to each other. Sometimes they shared other senses and sometimes Percy could even shut it off entirely like when he was in Tartarus. It was very narrow and thin, subdued by Hera even if Hera wasn't actively doing it right now. It was just the fact Percy had aged backwards.
"Hera," Grover muttered and then almost instantly the tunnel was larger and Percy was tumbling down the tunnel and rammed right into Grover. Then it didn't feel painful anymore, and Grover realized he was asleep. And this was now a dream and Percy was drooling in his lap.
"Percy?" Grover poked him and Percy swatted his hand away. "Percy!"
Percy blinked open slowly, staring at Grover for a long moment, then scrunching his face up. Grover watched as fireflies suddenly lit up the cave they were laying in, flying all around and then diving into Percy and making him sneeze several times before sitting up.
"Grover?" He questioned, "where—are we? What's going on?"
Percy looked like he'd been drug backward through half a dozen bushes and then stabbed a few times for good measure. Grover could see bruises littering his body and Grover figured he was even worse off than he looked. But, his body couldn't be this bad off, was it just his mental self this injured?
"Everything hurts." Percy added.
"Hera just returned your memory again, probably wondering why she had it in the first place. Your body is possessed by Kronos though—they aged you backwards somehow and that made it so your body was the perfect host. And you without any memories apparently meant he could possess you with no resistance. And... I don't know what's going to happen when you wake up. You look miserable."
"I'm younger?" Thank you for getting THAT out of it Percy. Percy blinked a few times, leaning over as he's still was exhausted. Grover was just happy he wasn't actively in pain anymore. No use for both of them to be hurting from only one of their injuries. Grover peered down the tunnel where golden light leaked from, Kronos. Where they, sitting in Grover's body right now? Was that where Percy's body was?
"That's where you tumbled from," Grover motioned. This was the easiest it had ever been to talk to Percy in dream form. "I think if we walked that way, we'd see Kronos."
Percy's hand went for his sword but came up empty. They sat there for a while, quietly staring down the tunnel. Percy's mind turning as memories continued to fit themselves into the proper places.
"Grover, if he's in my body. Isn't the only way to kill him..."
"To kill you." Grover finished quietly.

"He's out," Annabeth felt Grover's pulse which slowly began to even out and Grover stopped writhing in his sleep. "we need to find Percy quickly and figure out how to knock him out before Kronos is fully in control. There has to be a way to get Kronos out before he takes control-"
"What happens if he takes control?" Little Tony asked.
"Then Percy has to kill himself." Connor said simply and Annabeth bit her lip.
"Jason! Speed us up!"
"On it!" Jason called, bending his knees and the winds picking up more and pushing them through the sky even faster.
"Wont the gods be able to help?"
"We do have that going for us," Annabeth nodded, "I'm sure someone has an idea on how to get Kronos out."
Travis stirred, sitting upright and shaking his head. "I just talked to my dad. They're just going to kill him. Even if it takes hurting every inch until they find the right spot."
"Then we have to get to him first." Annabeth growled.
(Anyway. Hope you enjoyed this! For those of you who are asleep, enjoy two chapters in one day when you wake up. For those of you that had a heart attack at seeing me again, all is well! I will continue to make sure to let y'all know before I vanish for prolonged periods of time. I never want any of you to think that maybe I killed myself, died tragically, or something else. My mind always would jump to wondering when writers vanished when I was an avid wattpad reader. I don't want you guys to suffer from that.)
